Would never had known about this place only we were guests at a friends wedding .
Firstly would like to thank Lynsey & Tracey for organising a early book in , on arrival when booking in was asked if I needed help with my luggage , was even walked to our room and door opened such a nice touch. We were in the courtyard , room 12 room was lovely nice new bathroom , room had kettle and tea & coffee. Irons are provided .
Wedding was held in the penny farthing food was outstanding as was the service so well done chef & the team !! When the party was over we moved over to the main building and continued our night into the early hours . Breakfast was plentiful with a variety off fresh fruits pastries and full English breakfast .
Am sure Katie & Luke would agree you did them proud .
I,ve signed up for future emails and hope to visit again in the near future .

We celebrated the wedding of our daughter and new son in law here. We required several accommodation rooms and the use of the function room for all aspects of the ceremony, marriage service, reception and evening celebration. I was hugely impressed by the excellent and very professional service provided by the staff. They worked very discreetly and covered every detail, transforming the rooms from one function to the next.

The meals provided were of a really high standard and they were hot and fresh. Any concerns I had before the wedding proved to be non-existent. I cannot recommend this location highly enough. They are superb people to deal with. The location and hotel decor overall is exceptional.

I recently visited in 2 capacities, as the brother of the bride and as a working musician. On both fronts, I can't fault this place. The hotel is lovely, all venues are spotless, the grounds are well kept and the wedding team are the best I have ever worked with! Everybody is calm, friendly and down to earth. I would recommend to anybody thinking of getting married here to just take the plunge and do it. The team go above and beyond... the general manager even let us use his car as the weather was so bad... what more could anybody ask for? So, from a professional and guest perspective, this place gets full marks. Thank you all for a brilliant time!

Absolutely love this hotel. Room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Stayed with my sisters and we had a fab time. Staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. Food great and plenty of it. Already looking for the next party night event so we can stay again . Well Done!

My best friend recently had his wedding here and I was fortunate enough to be the best man at his wedding.
The wedding planners could not do enough to help us with our needs. They went well and truly above to make it a special day for everyone involved.
The most impressive members of Staff we came across that weekend and I have been compelled to write about them were 'David' and 'Catherine' in the restaurant and Bar area. They were two of the best bar staff and waiters I have ever come across. genuinely made us feel completely at home even into the early hours.
The facilities of the village were very impressive with the spa and gym being up there with the best we have experienced.
Unfortunately there was a couple of negatives with our stay. Firstly was the beds that we stayed in over the weekend. I honestly believe they were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever experienced. The second is the ludicrous bar prices we were paying. Normally I wouldn't be bothered about bar prices. But being asked to pay £9.45 for a double gin (Gordons gin) and lemonade was simply ridiculous.

All in all a good hotel.

We stayed here one night to attend an awards ceremony in the Pennine Suite, lovely Hotel staff were very nice on check in, we made use of the Hydrotherapy pool and saunas which were brilliant and very relaxing especially the outdoor area in the pool and facilities were very clean
Our room in the courtyard was lovely and clean.
The meal at the evening event was very nice some of the staff were very young and didn't seem to sure of what they were doing although that didn't take away from the very good service
The breakfast staff definately deserve a mention as they were lovely exactly the kind of people you need to help give you a good start to the day, the breakfast buffet had plenty of good options and you could also have cooked to order from the menu overall it was a fantastic stay and would highly reccomend

My husband and I attended a business event in the Pennine Suite. The venue was lovely, and the food very good for a large catered event. The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was very good too. The rooms were reasonably priced. My only complaint with our stay is that the bathroom bin had not been emptied after the previous guests, and I noticed because of the smell when I opened it. Yuck. Also there were a few cobwebs in the corners of the room. House-keeping could have been better. We did not use any of the leisure facilities.

I booked this as a one-night stopover at the end of a road trip. Driving up, it looked much better than the photos we had seen. It has a lovely spa with infinity hot pool looking down over the hillside - unfortunately we weren't there long enough to make use of it. Room was good-sized and very comfortable beds. A small minus, but not a dealbreaker - we had our dog with us but didn't have any blanket or bowls provided as per other reviews below. Our room was well situated though so that we could take him in and out of a separate entrance and not trek through reception. A doggy bin in the grounds would be good.

We ate in the restaurant - all very good, except a pet hate of mine - the food turned up before the wine.

The next morning we discovered the actual Drop Inn pub and shops further up on the site. Went into the tearoom and had a lovely breakfast.

Would be great for a weekend break, but not likely we'll be back in that area though

Thank you Tracy for your review and positive comments for the Spa team
I had heard of Last Drop Village, had a good stay and will come back. I was given a ground floor room when I requested one, which was actually an upgrade. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The bar food was a little uninspired, the black pudding potato cake was relatively tasteless considering the hotel is in the 'black pudding triangle'. The fish and chips obviously from frozen.

The hotel itself is superb but please also allow yourself an hour to have a good walk around the place an explore. It's like being in a period drama. Will be my first choice if stopping in the area again.

On the 08/09/2018 my husband and I got married at this venue in the Harmony Suite. We cannot thank everyone there enough. From the day we booked, through the planning and the actual day itself everyone involved went above and beyond to make the whole experience run smoothly. We’d like to say thank you to Vicky and Tara for the support and reassuring us (and apologies for bombarding you with emails constantly) and a special thanks to Nicola our master of ceremonies, you truly made all our guests feel amazing and I know Michael and I had the most amazing day. Thank you again for all your hard work!! We will definitely be back!!

We have just experienced a fabulous weekend here. The hotel is unique with its village feel and mix of modern and vintage looks. Our room was 313 which was well out of the way of the noise so perfect for us. It had a great view and was nicely decorated. The only downside to the room was the shower. The water pressure was crazy on all water sources. It would be weak one second and then super powerful the next. This wasn’t great in the shower because it meant it went from freezing to scolding in seconds. I had to ring reception half way through my shower and they let me shower in another room. The bar area had a great atmosphere and the free drinks vouchers plus buy 9 wines get one free we’re a great touch. The food was fantastic during the evening. Breakfast was standard and sometimes very cold. We visited the pub the first night and there was a wedding in there. It was a little confusing as we didn’t know if we could go in. It was better on the second day. We also had afternoon tea which was lovely. The tea shop is very busy and doesn’t have the best atmosphere but the food was nice. The spa is the star of this place. The gym is well equipped and the pool overlooking the stunning views was a great treat. I’m excited to return.

We stayed last night for fizz Friday. The staff were all great. The spa area was well equipped and clean. The food was lovely for both dinner and. breakfast. Only negative on the dinner was that the service was a little rushed as I think the restaurant was busy that night. Furthermore the toilets by the restaurant leading outside did smell when walking past.
However our room was in the courtyard and was lovely with good amenities. Very clean.

We stopped here for two nights on a coach holiday to The Isle of Man. We were originally only here for one night but our ferry was cancelled due to the weather conditions and we were lucky enough to stay a further night before continuing our journey.
The hotel and spa are well designed and spotlessly clean. An ideal venue for a wedding or any type of family occasion/celebration.
We would love to return for a spa break but its a long journey from our home in Southampton to Bolton, and we do not run a car.
The staff and accommodation were faultless, the food delicious.
Also resident was the BBC DIY SOS team, and Nick Knowles was kind enough to wish us all a great holiday.
This trip was a coach holiday comprising people who did not know each other to start with, so do not fit any of the groups indicated by trip advisor guidelines for this review, I have chosen "friends" however.

Me and my wife had our wedding with the last drop on the 14th september 2018. We have always loved the hotel and couldnt think of a more perfect place to have our day. The staff are amazing and so friendly, really can't do enough for you. They made our day as easy as possible and all our guests commented how beautiful the place is.
Planning and booking was actually an enjoyable experience, regular communication from wedding co-ordinators, Tara was amazing helping us plan and brainstorming with us to make our vision come to life.
The wedding ran so smooth and was made so personal with the help from Nicola who was AMAZING, so friendly and made family comfortable, even got emotional along with us during the day. At night Ryan took over and was so lovely, even had a little dance (persuaded by me) the staff really made it feel so personal and made us feel so relaxed.
We was provided with the Lancaster suite for the wedding night which was stunning! Personal touches including 2 bride hangers with dressing gowns, chocolates and we received 2 cards from the hotel and the breakfasts are delicious (free welcome drink provided as well but we didn't use it)
The only thing I have remotely 'negative' thing I have to say would be it was quite difficult to book our guests hotel rooms and we spent quite a while chasing rooms up, but I suppose everything can't be perfect and it all worked out.
We really would recommend anyone to use the last drop for their big day or even to just for a little break. Such a beautiful part of Bolton.
