I felt the carpets needed a good clean or replacement but understand the difficult times all hospitality has faced. The bedroom was clean and warm. The bedding and bed were very comfortable. Evening meal and breakfast very nice. All staff, reception, bar, restaurant and spa very pleasant and helpful.

Visited for an offer for NHS staff and key workers. £99 for spa access, 2 course dinner, room for the night and breakfast!
First of all it's an absolute bargain! Excellent for the money we paid.
Spa - hydrotherapy pool, saunas and steams and a swimming pool. All fantastic. Take flip flops, and not all rooms include a dressing gown, so double check before you go. We didn't book any treatments, but that's a personal preference.
2 course evening meal - food was lovely, set menu. Not a huge choice but something for everyone. Paid a £10.95 supplement for steak, which was fair and was delish! Only downside to dinner and why my review has 4 stars was the service. Super slow. Tables seated after us were served before us. We had to ask to order and had to query where our drinks were.
Room for the night - classic room, basic with everything you need. Shower was amazing. Pillows were a bit tough, but again personal preference.
Breakfast - cold and hot buffets. Self serve. No complaints apart from the lack of a hash brown.
All in all a fab stay and would definitely recommend for a cheap get away!

Fantastic overnight stay, very comfortable room and an excellent breakfast, a special mention to every member of staff we encounter during our stay, every single one smiled and were engaging, an absolute credit to the hotel.

The room was very clean and presentable. The three course meal in the courtyard restaurant was lovely, great portions, tasty quality food. The setting of the hotel with the little shops and courtyard rooms was nice also. the staff were very friendly and approachable and helpful.
The building site that unfortunately has taken away the lovely view from the spa and the executive rooms which we stayed in and was a focal point for that hotel and its position it was a shame to see a building site and new houses which have taken that away. Also we paid for breakfast in the room and when it came it was cold and half of the order missing so waited 20 minutes for the rest of the order but we had to send it back as it was cold and half the order missing to then to receive it (second time round) and it had been microwaved and wrapped in tin foil! (paid an extra £16) for room service as a treat and items missing, no salt and pepper or napkins , cold food (second time round was microwaved and like rubber) which was a shame because they were quality ingredients too, no sugar or milk for hot drinks. Prices for the spa treatments were very expensive also, maybe some value packages would benefit. The spa and thermal suite was extremely busy, very over crowded and not relaxing.

Very comfy beds. We had a upgrade. Beautiful area for walking. Local to village shops etc. Great service at the bar. Some of the spa area. Not expensive in the bar area. Great if you wanted to watch sky sports. ( But not for me I would of preferred music in the background) Great size room once upgraded. Girls who cleaned the room was very friendly and always there if you needed anything.
Not all of the spa areas was working. Signs saying NO mobiles allowed yet loads of people on the phones in there. No one there to say otherwise. Saturday night in the bar was not for us. A few people had too much to drink and getting very loud. Swearing too. Not nice when out with your wife. Room needed a little TLC. No pictures on walls. Lamp needed in room. Only big lights or side lights. Not great for the wife to put her make up on. No light near mirror.

Breakfast was excellent as well as the snack food and evening meal. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
The bath as slippy to stand in for a shower and a little dated. Not enough sun beds to lie on around the infinity pool area although not a large area to place more . People gave up beds for us .

Stop here for a birthday treat getaway. On arrival all was good although very busy. Was really looking forward to the spa and pool. Facilities seemed ok changing rooms were very dated. Spa/pool were far to busy! They need time slots otherwise far to overcrowded. Especially with the spread of covid you'd think some thing would be in place. Room wasn't clean at all (no excuse) especially being 4*. Night cut short both me and partner felt really ill after evening meal. My partners veg was still frozen. Would I stay again.....? Probably not

Stayed overnight on 15th Jan 22. The room was nice, warm, clean and the bed comfortable with all you need. We were in the main hotel building top floor at the front so had a lovely view. The meal in the evening was delicious as was the cooked breakfast the next morning. Staff really helpful and polite. We used the pool/spa facilities which was a nice relaxing experience.
The only thing which let the place down was seeing a number of guests walking around and sitting the hotel bar and reception areas in the toweling bath robes and slippers provided by the hotel. It really brings down the hotel's image and is unhygienic. It was 9.30pm and we were sat relaxing with a drink in the main bar when a couple walked in wearing bath robes slirring along in their white towelling slippers, they ordered their drinks and sat in the bar area, it was embarassing to see and we got up and left. This seemed to be the norm as others were doing the same.
I would suggest some sort of notice is displayed in the rooms or via online bookings to request guests refrain from wearing bath robes in the bar/reception/restaurant areas, or if staff could politely challenge guests doing this. There are changing rooms, lockers, towels and showers in the pool/spa area so there is absolutely no need for anyone to wonder round the hotel in bathrobes and disposable slippers.

Second time staying and enjoyed al over again! For the price of this hotel me and my boyfriend can’t get enough of this place! Both times visiting the food was beautifully done! Staff super friendly and always have a great night sleep. Spa access to the pool/heated pool is great! Defo book on if you’re on budget and want a relaxing and lovely stay!

We booked our wedding 2 years ago and communication was excellent throughout – especially during Covid. We were provided with constant reassurance during the pandemic.
The location itself is simply stunning, so if you’re looking for an exclusive venue, with caring and attentive staff that provide the personal touch and element of luxury then look no further.
The day itself, Jacqueline, Zoe and the team were incredibly accommodating and understood exactly what we wanted – they are absolute professionals and genuinely cared about making our day special. The attention to detail, the dressing of the room and the food were all sensational.
A special thank you to the GM Gerry who drove me (and my bridesmaids) the 100 metres to the suite to ensure our dresses remained pristine during the bad weather – we were all extremely grateful.

Stayed at LastDrop yesterday for the second time! The first time me and my boyfriend visited in July, we absolutely loved our stay! Great value for money. Our meal was gorgeous, a starter an a main and breakfast in the morning all included within the price of our stay! And access to the spa/pool. We visited again yesterday for a celebration of my graduation that sadly got postponed, this stay at LastDrop definitely put a smile on my face once again! Beds are super comfy, very warm room and ideal size room for the two of us! Staff are always welcoming, friendly and more than attentive! Perfect place if you’re on a budget and want a relaxing atmosphere! There is also a pub about 5/10 mins down the road in which we stopped at for lunch before checking in, was perfect just before our lovely dinner at the Courtyard restaurant within LastDrop!! Will definitely be booking again in the spring/summer time and booking my parents in for their anniversary in June too! THANK YOU LASTDROP!!

All great and as we expected. Fantastic Amenities, gorgeous location. Dinner and breakfast was lovely but just a delays on our nd dinner and breakfast was cold after queuing and waiting for the food dishes to be topped up. Room of improvement in room services/ house keeping.

Amazing trip perfect for a family trip girls weekend or even a weekend with your other half definitely recommend going we had an amazing weekend for my mums 60th birthday they were also accommodating for talking our dog there couldn’t fault there customer service!
