Was served by an excellent member of your staff called Caitlin. I couldn’t decided what I wanted to order and she recommended your carvery. I have never come across a well manner young lady with such patience, didn’t feel pressured even though there also seemed to be an event on at the time.

We had a fantastic day at the spa and love every minute of it but the afternoon tea left me feeling defeated.

The sandwiches were probably kept in the fridge for a long time as they were slightly going hard (the bread). The scones inedible as they were dry.
A tea list would be nice to see the different types you provide.

The other cakes were lovely.

Went to a wedding reception and stayed overnight been to other functions there in the past but this time loved the place . All the staff where brilliant and made the night extra special for all the guest. I’ve got to give a mention to the bar staff Tilly Thomas Ryan Dillon James and Auden who are a credit to the company. Gerry the manager could not do enough for the guests.. over all a great place to stay in lovely surroundings and brilliant staff. Thank you all for making it a wedding reception

Had a wonderful bonfire night with the misses, and was helped hugely by one of the staff named "Euan". We were a bit lost looking for where to go, but he got us there just in time! So thankful for him or we would've missed the fireworks.

Thank you Suzi for the feedback and hope to see you soon
What can I say but absolutely perfect.
From start to finish we had the the best day of our lives.
And the Last Drop played a major role in that day. Perfect venue, the food was unbelievable, the organisation of the day could not be faulted. The staff were awesome and could not do enough for all our guests.
A big thank you goes to our wedding planner Vicky. She guided us from start to finish and made the day seamless. Without her our day would not have been what it was.
Thank you everyone

We stayed at the Last Drop for five nights, including 3 nights with a party of 250 for our regular army reunion. We have stayed at lots of different hotels with this group over the years but this is the first time we have considered going back on our own!

Under the leadership of General Manager, Gerry McGee the staff are incredible. I was stunned to learn that many of them are students as their attitude and level of professionalism was above that experience in top London hotels. Each of them always had a smile, a friendly greeting and nothing was too much for them. Mind you, they were obviously following their leader as Gerry not only made himself available to guests, asking if all was well, but it wasn't beneath him to collect glasses and plates as he passed!

The food was delicious, served in a lovely setting with a good ambience. Franco, the Restaurant Manager, also deserves a mention and we were particularly impressed with the service we received from David, at the bar and QT in the restaurant - although there were no staff who did not do well for us.

This is truly a village with a separate pub, tea shop and lots of quaint shops including wedding shops and gift shops. Such a beautiful location. Walking outside to get to our room was a bit strange at first (we were in room 50) but it was all so lovely we soon got used to it. And the room was beautiful - clean and comfortable with a massive bed! The bathroom was spotless and the towels were large enough for even me!

Guests have access to the spa and it is lovely. A thermal pool with an infinity pool going outside plus the usual sauna etc. The treatments are excellent value too!

Would we recommend it? Without reservation. I have told so many people about it since I got back they are beginning to think I'm on commission, lol.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the last drop village. Just what we needed as a chilled out getaway. The spa hydrotherapy pool in particular is great and we were lucky that the hotel wasn’t too busy - at one point we had the pool to ourselves. It’s a great location close to public footpaths that lead you to the moors and a lovely reservoir close by. Thanks for a great stay! We’ll be back.

The Last Drop is a great place for meetings. The staff are really helpful, the rooms work well for a range of events and there's plenty of parking. There has been major investment in the hotel and the spacious surroundings make it a welcoming place. Great spa too. It's not your standard hotel!

Me and my mother visited this gorgeous spa in June this year for my birthday. It was a great welcoming service and our room was to expectation.we booked for a fizz Friday which we were welcomed to a lovely bottle of champagne in our room.We enjoyed a lovely spa day with a great outdoor heated pool with a stunning view of the countryside. We then went for a really nice dinner in the restaurant which was a great atmosphere and then had breakfast in the morning which had a great range of breakfast food. I would recommend this spa to anyone who would love to treat their loved ones or family members it is great and fabulous day to relax and enjoy the gorgeous spa x

I have just stayed for the second time at the hotel. This time surpassed the other. I attended a long weekend function and it was amazing. I had a courtyard room which was very comfortable and had all that you require and it was spotless. Our party was in excess of 200 people and the hotel coped with everything we required. The bars and restaurants were staffed by people who enjoyed serving you and all went the extra mile to ensure you got what you wanted. The food was first class and the wine selection was very good. My only complaint is that you cannot draught real ale. Still it didn't spoil the weekend. Can I thank all of the staff for really making our weekend. I hope we get the opportunity to return on a regular basis and receive the same attention to detail we did this time. Well done to you all.

We have a reunion every year, this is the first we have had in the Last Drop Village hotel. I have never felt so comfortable in a hotel as I had in this one. As an organizer of this event we had over 250 people turn up for our annual reunion, I received only praise for the accommodation, food and the helpful staff who went above and beyond the call of duty! Even the MD was present all weekend, a cheery helpful man who ensured all was well among the guests. I could mention names but there would be too many, who were outstandingly efficient and happy in their work. Roll on next year when I and our members can return for another event like we have just experienced. THANK YOU. David G

My wife and I booked for a Sunday spa including dinner, bed and breakfast. The price was about half of other spa hotels so we felt this was a good deal for us.

The positives:
The staff were friendly and helpful. They reserved our treatment times for us even though we forgot to book them in and kindly contacted us to arrange.
The Spa was open for long hours which was particularly pleasing given it was a Sunday night.
The meat for the evening meal wasn't fatty considering we were having braised beef.
The checkout time of 2pm was also a bonus.
You don't have to walk outdoors to get to the outdoor pool.
The spa wasn't crowded.
The massage included in the deal was definitely worth it.
The bed was firm (this is our preference).
You can actually swim in the indoor pool.

The negatives:
There was a noticeable amount of mould and rust in the bathroom.
The shower kept going hot and cold. We didn't complain about this during our stay because we didn't want the hassle of switching rooms.
The spa facilities are very tired. They remind me of a council leisure centre that hasn't been invested in for a good number of years.
The food was very basic and lacked the touch of class we were hoping for.
The floors around the rooms are very noisy so you can hearing everyone your corridor walking and nobody was trying to be particularly loud.

When we first arrived at the hotel we saw a grand building which looked very inviting, it's just a shame that the insides don't live up to it. This could have been an excellent stay but we left thinking 'that was fine'.
