Pricey and weddings come first Spa facilities were good very clean and relaxing. Staff were very helpful. Its mainly catered for weddings. We couldntbise some of the onsite facilities such as the pub as weddings were taking place. Think the hotel should warm non wedding guests that these areas may be out of use before booking. Thought this would be somewhere different to book but could only sit in the hotel bar where drinks selection ie lagers were restricted and expensive. This was a birthday treat and for the money spent 134 for one night could have stayed somewhere alot more relaxing and welcoming.

Very polite and welcoming staff, good food and clean hotel. Well worth the drive to get there. The food and staff were great! It is a bit of the beaten track.

My friends booked this hotel on a 1 night spa break for my birthday. They know how much I love being pampered and it was a great present.

We arrived late and was welcomed at reception and checked in with no problems.

In the morning we went for breakfast and there was a full buffet available or you could order from the menu. It was delicious.

The spa was lovely a large pool area and then a private area for adults with an outside covered pool with rain fall fountain, sauna and steam room. It had a very relaxing atmosphere.

The treatments were lovely and we liked the relaxation area.

The therapist didn’t ask me any questions about what I would like to get out of the treatment or any areas to focus on or pressure. She just told me to get undressed and lie on the bed but the massage was nice anyway. I like to close my eyes to relax and enjoy the treatment but the therapist talked all the way through it. She was a lovely woman and I’m far to polite to tell her to stop talking.

We did have afternoon tea one vegan one vegetarian and me. We enjoyed our fizz and my tea was nice I just felt a little sorry for my vegan friend as it was very limited uninspiring and fruit on a stick.

I would recommend and return but maybe leave the afternoon tea.

Great service for dinner from the two men behind the bar who were brilliant! Location did not have the rural views I thought it was going to have? The two men behind the bar serving drinks and indeed food were absolutely brilliant, friendly and put us at complete ease. They are a credit to your hotel. It was obviously a busy evening due to a wedding reception?

I can not speak enough of the chef at the tea shop, sammy was so attentive to our needs for our afternoon tea the sandwiches were lovely and her customer service for a chef made us feel special will come here again just to see her.

We got a wowcher deal. Cracking value for money. Spa was average- hydrotherapy pool very nice. Spa treatments extortionate prices.

Room was dingy. Barely any natural light. 2 small windows- view was of a wall and a flat roof with yucky cigarette stumps. Beds comfortable, room clean enough.

Afternoon tea- no. Just not impressed. Bread stale- cakes ok but scones where rock solid and cold. :(

Unfortunately throughout the night I was sick! Now, i wont point the finger as it could of been either the afternoon tea or dinner. However, at breakfast I decided maybe something simply didn't agree with me- so i ate something. Yet again- about 40 mins later- poorly again! A very sad tummy im afraid!

Unfortunately on this basis, I won't be returning. However, grounds are beautiful, shops and pub are adorable- like a little village. Parking is adequate. Staff seemed very friendly.

Good trip Spa was great, very quiet first thing, room was large and comfy. Food and drink good, friendly and helpful staff. Fitness centre is public, so I got chatting to some really friendly members. Hotel was nicely laid out, with lots of different styles of buildings. Very pretty. It's always other guests that let a venue down. Noisy neighbours, and inconsiderate smokers outside our room at 2am. Reception staff acted immediately tho, and sorted it all out.

Just returned from our latest overnight spa break at Last Drop. We absolutely loved it! The spa facilities are fabulous, so relaxing!

We had the three course meal in the restaurant, the food is fantastic and the service is amazing, our server Sarah couldn’t do enough for us, her professionalism and attention is fantastic and rarely seen in restaurants anymore she is an asset to your team as I told her she was one of the reasons for our return!

This is our second spa break package and certainly won’t be our last, if I had to find any negative at all then the bar prices are a little pricey other than that our overall package is definitely value for money

My daughter and I have just had an overnight stay, including use of spa facilities, two course evening meal and breakfast. For what we’ve had it was a bargain and couldn’t fault the food at all. I found our room a little dated, the carpet needed a good clean. The bathroom also needed updating.

Spa facilities are great although the changing room also needed a good clean.

We couldn’t fault the meals and the staff were very friendly. I wouldn’t like to have paid full price. We would definitely return again on the same kind of offer but next time would request to change room.

Room was nice, I was in the courtyard a nice use of what may have been the old stable yard in bygone years - hanging baskets at a fountain etc.

free parking, we had a meeting room conference. Buffet lunch etc. All good.
Great full english breakfast

Went for a wedding which was beautiful. However, the bar prices were extortion. Food at reception not too bad, but the toilets stank! Lovely surroundings for pictures, but they need to sort out prices in bars and the loos!

I recently visited for a family wedding and thought I’d leave a review about how friendly the staff where when serving us are drinks/meals etc!! There was one member of staff a young girl known as Taylor who’s manners and politeness towards not just me but the whole of the family was amazing and she continuously tried her best to make the day as special as it could, through things such as dealing with a family members meal due to allergies, to being friendly and respectful towards everyone and for always having a smile! we would all like to thank Taylor and the rest of you for delivering an amazing day!!

We stayed here two nights as a friend was getting married nearby. The hotel is in a lovely setting with good views, although also near houses and shops, it feels further away. The grounds are huge and lovely to walk around, with the ‘village’ shops / cafe / pub really making it feel like a quaint English village in itself.
Our room was a family room for 3, the furniture is a little dated but room was spotless and comfortable. No air conditioning, although we did ask for a fan at reception which they gave us as we were there during a heatwave!
Breakfast was a good selection of hot and continental and staff were approachable. We had an evening meal in the restaurant too which was very good and reasonably priced for this type of venue.
The spa is well worth a visit! We went later in the evening and it was lovely and quiet in both the main pool and spa area. We were able to watch sunset from the infinity pool and relax / swim which was a real treat. Pool areas have a good amount of seats around, and were very clean. Changing room had several shower cubicles and plenty space to change.
Overall, I’d fully recommend this hotel if you’re in the area or for a short spa break.

I have been a member for a while last march I had my first baby.
I started coming to the gym classes last June with Jason on a Monday and Helen Wednesday and Thursday.
Both have been great with me getting me back into the gym and building my confidence with getting back into exercise.
Classes are great too.

Booked this hotel and had lots of helpful emails in response to my booking. Brought six members of my family from Australia. Although the rooms and the food were all good . Unfortunately from the minute I arrived I was contradicted by everything that was booked . I was asked for more money although I had paid in full. Said I didn’t book a table . I had emails to prove everything. There was confusion with the evening meal and I had to pay the extra as I didn’t want my family to know . I wrote a complaint email which has been ignored . It’s a lovely place to stay but this ruined my weekend .

We had our wedding here on 11th August 2019 13 of us stayed for the weekend with the rest of our guests joining us on the Sunday
From arrival on Saturday to check out on Monday every staff member we encountered could not do enough for us .The Harmony suite was beautifully prepared for both ceremony and reception. We opted for the barbecue rather than a meal and all the food was outstanding.
Jacqueline.and all her team worked exceptionally hard to make sure everything went as it should from arrival on Saturday to us leaving on Monday. Special thanks to Nicky who was with us from the reception through to the evening to make sure everything ran smoothly and was wonderful with the children.
Anybody looking for an exceptional wedding venue should choose the last drop village

I have been a member of the gym for about 18 months and have been training with Jason for most of that time. He changes things up so you don’t get used to doing the same thing and will always advise me on what I should be eating and things to do in the gym in between sessions. I’d recommend anyone to book some sessions with him and start getting fit!

I have been a member of the last drop gym for over 10 years and have struggled to motivate myself to go. A couple of years ago they started classes, starting with a monday boot camp run by Jason one of the fitness instructors. This class caters for all levels of fitness and Jason will offer an alternative/easier exercise if needed. The class is motivating, fun and friendly and Jason continues to encourage you throughout the class. Jason will demonstrate the exercise first to us therefore making sure that they are carried out properly and stretching off is always done to minimise any injuries. Boot camp is carried out either outside, in the gym or in a function room. This makes it possible for Jason to mix each class up ensuring not every week is the same and therefore exercising a range of different muscle each week. Then other classes where brought along side bootcamp. These include a Wednesday and a Thursday class ranging from core to weights. These alternative classes are run by Helen, another fitness Instructor. Having also had personal training with both Jason and Helen I would recommend trying these as both Instructors are highly knowledgeable and skilled. They will Taylor a work out to suit your fitness level and the encouragement and results they give you are well worth it. Both Jason and Helen if asked will write an exercise programme tailed to your needs or target area, that you can take into the gym and work at in your own time and pace. Going forward its just missing a studio so more classes can be offered

I have been a member of the gym at The Last Drop for many years, so obviously I’m a huge fan. I have been training with Jason for over two years and thoroughly enjoy and benefit from the sessions. He keeps it fresh with new exercises introduced all the time and varies the sessions by going outside if the weather is fine. I certainly get pushed to my limits and do far more than I would on my own.
The gym and spa are very well equipped and maintained by the owners and management and as a result there is a loyal and varied membership. The staff are all very welcoming whatever age, size or shape you are. Give it a try!
