We got a really good deal through groupon. The hotel was slightly dated but clean and comfy. And the spa facilities are good and again clean. Although the swimming pool seemed to have a lot of chlorine in which stung our eyes so we couldn’t stay in there long. The food for the evening meal and breakfast was all lovely.
Overall lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly. And they did us a little birthday welcome treat which was very sweet. Would return :-)

Myself and mum got vouchers from groupon for a night stay, 2 course meal, breakfast prosecco and spa treatments! This place is incredible, stunningly beautiful, clean and the staff are very friendly. A few negatives being the check in was late, our room (20) was so hot we barely slept and our treatments that were supposed to be 30 minutes only lasted 20 minutes. If it wasnt for these this experience would have been perfect!
Definitely we will return!

Visited the Last Drop Village this weekend for a school retirement party. From the moment I checked in until I left, I was looked after.
Being the organiser of the event, meant liaising closely with the staff. Jane in the spa had to contend with several changes to our schedule and did this with ease always making it feel like it was no bother. Also Sophie who was on spa reception, she was lovely and very friendly. The banqueting supervisor and his staff were both friendly and attentive.
My colleagues mentioned several times on how attentive all the staff were and how well we all were looked after.
We will definitely be back for future events.
Thank you all so much for looking after us so well.

Breakfast very good. Room ok, a bit grotty like the chair that was stained and full of hair. Just little touches that could easily bring the standard like touches of paint on bathroom and more that one toilet roll.

Went to a concert at the Macron Stadium and used this as our base. Hotel staff all very nice. We had a family room that sleeps 4 - no problems. Clean room. Nice touches - chocolates, robes and slippers. Got back late from the concert and although food had stopped at 10.00pm they were more than happy to make sandwiches - which was brilliant for most people returning. The bar is only small with 2 staff - so when it is busy and people are having cocktails it can take a while to be served. Surroundings are lovely - lovely little shops and tearoom. Great breakfast buffet. Only wished we had taken advantage of the spa - forgot our swimsuits! We will be back!!

We booked here as it has been recommended so myself and my friend bought a wowcher deal.
We had sent over the order few days before so everything was pre booked and organised.
When we arrived the staff were pleasant but I had to push to get some direction of where needed to go etc which was irritating.
When we found our way to the treatment rooms, no one was there we wandered around a bit and again we didn’t know where to go, it wasn’t clear, no signs to say sit here etc.
The treatments were good couldn’t fault that at all.
Afterwards we found our way to the tea room, I explained we had pre ordered, no one seemed to know what was happening. We were asked what we had ordered, who with, did we have the voucher and so on. It made it awkward.
The bottle of Prosecco I asked for was warm and again there seemed to be confusion when I asked politely if they didn’t mind to put it in the fridge?
The pub next door was closed, again I asked when is it actually open, no one knew they just said oh it’s as and when.... no actual answers. I was asking as I thought it would nice to come back for a family meal.
Overall the place, value for money for the voucher, was good and the food was lovely but I think the staff really do need to work on their customer skills.
When people book these days it’s because they want to feel special for the day.

Could you please pass on my thanks and the thanks of our Head of Service, to Nasser and Dan and all the rest of the staff on duty for our Award Ceremony last Thursday. All the staff were really lovely and helpful and this excellent service provided us with a great afternoon. If you could also pass on our thanks to your chefs as the food was excellent and both myself and our Head of Service have received many compliments on the food and the event as a whole.

Also thank you Vicky for your help in organising this event for us at such short notice, thanks to you all for ensuring our staff who have served the Service for many years had a really lovely afternoon.

Me and a friend returned for a spa day after having such a brilliant experience first time round. Safe to say it didn't let us down. The staff were so friendly and the treatments were so relaxing. The therma spa is incredible and the afternoon tea was good too. Highly recommended.

As everyone was checking in at the same time this did take some time, as a busy time more staff would have been beneficial.
Pillows rather hard and could not get anything other that boiling hot water from the shower - reported to reception on check out so hopefully the next person will be able to use the lovely big shower. Good location if attending an event at Marcon Stadium

Love staying here, all staff are so welcoming and helpful. Aaron in the bar was so lovely checking if everything was alright and if we wanted any bar snacks. And Megan from the spa was the most loveliest young lady and an gave amazing massage treatment! Couldn’t recommend enough.

Came here with Mum and Sister as part of Fantastic Fizz Friday offer and stayed in an Executive Family Room. This was a surprise for sister's birthday. I emailed ahead of our stay to ensure evening meal booked in and the service before we even started our stay was very efficient.

We arrived before check in, but as our room was ready we will able to check in early. Receptionist extremely helpful and provided us with a map as this was our first time at the hotel. Spa facilities were great and we loved the infinity pool and Jacuzzi, perfect start to our stay. On arrival we were given welcome drink vouchers which was a lovely touch. When we went back to the room, there was a happy birthday plate with strawberries, chocolates and bottle on fizz on ice...sister was surprised and such a special touch.

Evening meal was good, the pate starter went down well and the lamb koftas were amazing! Bar service was excellent and every member of staff greated us with a smile and checked how our stay was going.

The Executive Family Room was very spacious and shower was lovely and hot! If you a light sleeper, you may want to bring ear plugs. We all slept very well and all three beds were comfy.

Next morning we had breakfast, included in the package deal, and this was plentiful. So much choice and you could help yourself til you were full. Excellent!

From start to finish, the overall stay was fantastic. Already talking about our return visit. Thank you last drop village...excellent in every way!

Nice room, took a bits to find a suitable parking space. I'm not disabled but have a very painful leg and struggled finding a space. The car park is rather meandering

After a great visit in September we came back again for my Birthday weekend.
We had a great stay with a really nice bar meal. The drinks and service were great on the Friday night. On the Saturday we came out of the spa (which is incredible) and asked for a hot chocolate to be told it had ran out. We then asked for prosecco instead to be told this had ran out too. I complained to reception and the manager arranged for us to have hot chocolate and prosecco for free (Thank you!) once it had arrived from the local shop. The breakfast on one of the days was buffet and the other served to your table. The buffet day let the breakfast down as it was cold, poor quality and always running out. The day it was served was good. The rooms are slightly dated with the shower running red hot one minute and cold the other but I love the view from our room which we have now stayed in twice so I wouldn't change it. Just a few tweaks to be made which I hope they can make before we return again- hopefully in September.

Went on 18th May to a friends hen party we arrived to a lovely welcome from reception. We held the party in a nice room and nothing was to much for the staff. Meals were lovely BUT and that’s a massive BUT the spa was AMAZING. From the second we booked in we were looked after by a lovely lady called Dionne. Nothing was to much trouble she even went outside to take a group photo of us in the hydro pool. She was constantly fussing over us which all added to the wonderful experience. I then went on to have a facial by a first class lady called Debbie I was totally relaxed. I can’t thank everyone enough. I will definitely be returning again. Keep up the good work girls it was first class.

We booked last minute so the price was near 170 pound a night which was a bit eyewatering but we accepted this.
When we arrived reception didn't acknowledge us for at least a few minutes and didn't give us much information and were not particularly friendly very abrupt, which was disheartening.
Just made us sad because we saw the hotel is usually around 80 pound and paying round 170 we expected them to be more personable.
The rooms are okay , beds really comfy, but very tired looking, needs a makeover to modernise, also odd no welcome pack in room, first hotel I have ever been at without one.
Overall, okay experience, just would like more friendly and informative reception.

I want to say an enormous thank you to the last drop for a truly amazing wedding. You made our wedding feel like a fairytale. All the staff was so friendly and made us feel amazing but most importantly they made our children feel so special too. The hotel itself was so luxurious with spectacular views. A true little gem. I would and already have recommended this hotel and have plans to go back real soon.
Our meals were mouthwatering our service was astounding. Our room was to die for, spotless wasn’t even the word to describe how clean our room was ( was serviced with a friendly smile too) these are the small things that made our stay one to remember. We will definitely be coming back for our anniversary.

Visited with my niece. Had lunch in the cafe. It was very quiet, maybe near to closing. Had sandwiches which were quite nice. Menu was adequate but a little disappointing in its variety. Staff were friendly. It all seemed a bit dark. Obviously the buildings are old but could have been a bit brighter.

Excellent stay. We stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4.
We had a double bed, a single bed and a fold out bed - but the fold out was a decent quality one. Kettle, iron, hairdryer & trouser press available in the room.
Good pool, spa and gym facilities available for use. Towels available free of charge. £1 needed for the lockers. The only disappointment was that the gym & spa had a minimum age of 16, which was a disappointment to our 12 & 14 year olds.
We ate in the bar one evening - food was good and reasonably priced.
Staff were really polite and helpful.
Large, free car park.
Bromley Cross train station is 1.3 miles away from the hotel - which have regular trains into Manchester which take approx 30 minutes.
A small number of shops on site as well as a pub (The Drop Inn) - but we didn’t use these. A small vintage fair was advertised online for the weekend we were there - but none materialised.

Attended for 2 day residential workshop - great venue and setting, service fantastic, lovely spa facilities a bonus. Only thing not 5 star is the food, which is very good but not great, and eye watering prices in the bar. Would book again!

I held a training day in the penny farthing conference suite on 5th June 2019. I was very impressed by the venue. The bookings team replied to email queries really fast when we were making enquiries and were really helpful in explaining the venue.

The staff who were assigned to us on the day, Nicola assisted by Dillon and Aiden Jagger were attentive and sorted everything. The catering was delicious and enjoyed by all delegates.

The day went really well and I hope to be organising more training days here in future. I feel it is good value for money for a conference centre. Thank you.

I stayed here with my family for my 50th birthday celebrations, we all booked the Saturday Sparkle package which included a 3 course evening meal, breakfast and Sunday lunch also late check out & drinks & oh my was it worth it. The food was excellent, the staff were delightful & really made us all welcome. Most of my party including myself are disabled & all our needs were catered for, I can't recommend this hotel highly enough, I will definitely be returning.

The first thing I want to mention is the staff. What a lovely helpful team. Everyone made myself and my friend feel like royalty. We were having an overnight stay with a 2 course dinner, a treatment and breakfast on a Wowcher. We felt is was really good value and the food was excellent. My friend is Vegan and she was given her own menu full of choices which she really enjoyed. I had pate and a roast beef dinner which was absolutely delicious. The breakfast had an amazing selection and my poached eggs were cooked to perfection. We had room 20 in the courtyard. Our bathroom looked brand new and was contemporary and spotless. Our only complaint was the heat in the room. We were boiling! The radiator was switched off, our windows were open but it was still unbearable. Staff kindly brought us a fan but at night there was only a duvet (no sheet) so it was a case of swelter or moon at your buddy! It's not put me off as I would bring a sheet and tower fan next time. We paid extra for a hot stone massage which was wonderful and we loved the outdoor jacuzzi. We got a late check out thrown in so we made use of the facilities again after breakfast. All in all we loved it and I'd have given it 5 stars if I'd slept better.
