Good if it’s for a short stay
close to the train station
The room was very hot air conditioner didn’t work. Called for early check in and they said yes got there for 3 and they had no more early check in rooms

Lovely hotel with great staff!
The location was great, staff were super friendly and accommodating. It was very busy when we arrived (I recommend you arrive early to get a space in the car park). We queued for a while to check in but the staff came round with bubbly and you could help yourself to virgin mojitos and fruit

Very pleasant - lovely staff and very clean and thoughtfully laid out hotel; shame about the aircon.

Air con wasn't working. Someone had thoughtfully put a fan (and it was already on when I arrived) in the room, but because the window only opens a couple of inches, and was behind a blind, it didn't really have much impact on the heat of the room. I can't say I slept well!

I visited the Holiday Inn in Bolton to deliver a two day training course in their excellent training rooms.
All the staff are super helpful and friendly and the layout of the training room, with delegate stationary, water etc is spot on.
Lunch was great with lots of good quality food on offer and all delegates were happy.
The only negative was the temperature of the training room as the day moved on as there was no air conditioning in the room we were in.
I also stayed in the hotel and again, the rooms and service in the restaurant is excellent.
The hotel is easy to access via major roads and car parking is underneath the hotel and validated with screens in main reception.

Felt at home and relaxed. Staff are so helpful and make customers feel they matter.
Very pleased with room. Plenty of sockets. Different choices of lighting. Desk area spacious. Light in wardrobe plus ironing board & iron & hair dryer. Beds very comfortable. Great shower room with choice of 2 shower options, proper bath towels, soap shampoo & body wash, tissues plus plenty loo paper provided. Breakfast is superb, so much to choose from - self service and can have as much as you can eat. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable atmosphere throughout.
Only fault was the heat wave was excessive and the room was too hot. Windows can only be opened slightly - could do with being able to open wider or have air conditioning. Have stayed here twice before and room temperatures have not been a problem

I liked the free parking and the rooms were a great size and very clean. Bed was comfy and black out blind was great 👍
Our visit was on the hottest weekend of the year so far and the air conditioning wasn't great. Appreciate not something we normally have to worry about in the UK but a cooler room would have made the stay 10/10.

We turned up on a very busy day for a concert, there was a large queue to get checked in. Staff were very apologetic, attentive and professional. Also offered everyone a glass of champagne whilst we waited

Great stay for the weekend. We enjoyed our time at the hotel. The hotel staff especially Lucy, Alpesh, Julie, Joshua were great. They made sure we had a great time during our stay 👍👍👍👏👏

Room & bed were extremely spacious & comfortable- wanted to bring bed home!! The staff were all really friendly & helpful
Parking only 2 disabled bays & my disabled vehicle would not go in underground parking- but thanks to friendly staff being very accommodating we were allowed to park outside
