We were selling a house to our sons and I was dealing with a solicitor recomended by estate agent for sale and adk for purchase (who just found on Internet). The solicitor for sale was useless (typical solicitor, never replied to emails, calls,etc and extremely slow). Adk on other hand were a breath of fresh air, always replied promptly, and always helpful and didn't have any issues with them. Based on my experience I would definitely recommend adk and stay clear of estate agent recommendations which are probably just based on who pays most commission.

We appointed ADK Law to complete on our new house purchase at the start of November 2021. We are based in Greater Manchester and wanted to use a local firm with good reviews.
ADK appointed Sophie to our case within one working day. Sophie has been a pleasure to work with. We cannot speak more highly of her.
We were working to a tight deadline for completion. There was pressure on us from both the estate agent and top of the chain, as the chain had collapsed at various points in the past.
Sophie actioned everything quickly and accurately. From requesting the searches, sending our queries to the seller, chasing up our lender, providing her report and answering any questions we had. She was thorough throughout, and we felt like we were in safe hands (which we were).
We completed in 11 weeks, which we are delighted with.
There were no hidden fees on our final bill whatsoever.
We’re now settling in to our new home. I would definitely recommend Sophie (and by extension ADK Law) to anyone looking for a professional job.

I was selling my house quickly and needed a responsive firm. ADK did that and more.
I was onboarded within several hours and my contact (Sophie) was understanding of the situation, very responsive to queries and went above and beyond to engage with the other side, all of which helped move the process along as quickly as possible to completion on my target date.
I recommend hiring ADK law over the huge national firms as you won't get lost in the volume of clients and you will be valued more.

We were referred to ADK Law by the Conveyancing Index comparison site and chose to use them for our house purchase in Sheffield because the reviews were good, and the price was very competitive. We were delighted with the service... Our solicitor (Bilal Khan) was excellent. He responded extremely quickly to emails and phoned as a couple of times when he needed to clarify more urgent matters. First house purchase and was advised not to use a solicitor that wasn’t local to me but took a risk and went with ADK law who were very competitively priced.
Lorna delays with my conveyancing from start to finish and was superb! It was a leasehold property with lease extensions and all sorts of issues that could have slowed things down but Lorna was fast to act on everything.
I’ll definitely be using them again and I’ll be requesting Lorna!
