The charity was formed back in 1989 as a Christmas shelter, but over the years it has continued to expand to meet the needs of vulnerable people. They now offer 9 single rooms of supported accommodation, a newly refurbished 1 bed ground floor flat and their popular day centre in Bath Street, Barrow
From 1st November Furness Homeless Support Group Day Centre will be open once again for anyone in need of company, warmth, or those who just wish to join them for a hot meal and a drink.
The centre will be open on Tuesdays 11am – 1.30pm
You can come along and enjoy a hot drink and a two-course meal.
