Ulverston BID Public Meeting
27th June 2016
... Comments

Ever since business owners in Ulverston decided to back the Ulverston BID (back in March 2015) things have been going on behind the scenes to create a better, more vibrant Ulverston.

So far Ulverston BID has supported Ulverston In Bloom; you can’t help but notice the many planters, busting with colourful flowers as you stroll through the town centre. And Another Fine Fest, which was a day of incredible entertainment (and a World Record breaking cream pie fight!)

Both of these things have helped raise the town’s image and appeal, and with that in mind Ulverston BID will be holding their 1st public meeting since the board was elected, giving them the chance to report back to the many BID Levy members and members of the public.

On Monday July 11th in the Supper Room at The Coronation Hall you will be able to hear about the BID’s achievements and help shape the plans for the town’s future. This is a community initiative, and public opinion and ideas are always more than welcome.

At the meeting, there will also be the opportunity to be nominated for 2 positions on the BID Board; one representing SME’S and the other representing retailers. Please be aware thought that only representatives of businesses that pay the levy can be nominated for these positions. The Bid board director positions are voluntary, and receive no payment.

So to find out what the BID has been up to, and to put your ideas forward for your vision of the town and how to attract more visitors, make sure you make a note in your diary to attend on the 11th July.
