The Band service of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines will be holding a careers presentation on Saturday afternoon, as part of its visit to South Cumbria.

Trevor Naughton – Warrant Officer and recruitment specialist for the Band Service will give talks on careers within the Band Service as well as the Royal Navy and Royal Marines. The presentation takes place between 12.30pm and 1pm at The Coronation Hall. It’s hoped that there’s a great turnout, with everyone more than welcome to attend. They would especially like to see and hear from people under 25 years old who’re interested in forging a career in the Armed Forces.

On Saturday evening you’ll also be treated to a fantastic joint concert. The world acclaimed Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines will perform alongside the Internationally renowned Ulverston Victoria High Street Wind Band. UVHS is the only school to perform and regularly partner the Band Service on stage, and have recorded sessions with them as well.

It promises to be a really fantastic evening, so get your tickets reserved and settle down for an evening of world class music.

So if you’ve ever thought about, or would like to know more about a career in the armed forces, quick march down to the Coronation Hall tomorrow!
