Residents of Ulverston and surrounding areas that bank with Natwest will be pleased to hear that as from Thursday 14th February Natwest’s Mobile Banking Service will become part of the Ulverston Outdoor market.

The mobile service will be situated outside Bargain Booze in New Market Street between 10.15am and 11.15am every Thursday, giving residents and visitors to the town

Ulverston Community Enterprises have also  announced that Natwest’s Mobile Banking Service’s first visit will incorporate a community event centred around “Taking a Stand against Scams”

As scams to swindle you out of your hard earned cash and savings are on the rise it’s really important to know how to protect yourself.Raising awareness of scams and how to avoid falling foul of them is something that Natwest are taking very  seriously as Alan Roberts, Customer Services Manager for Natwest explains : “Natwest are proud partners of the Friends Against Scams campaign, which is a National Trading Standards initiative and aims to protect and prevent people becoming victims of scams”.

At a time when people are concerned about the loss of banking services, particularly as Santander closes in May, it's fantastic that this new siting of the NatWest mobile banking service can be provided in a central location to the people of Ulverston and to visitors.
