Lamont Pridmore, the multiple award-winning Barrow-based family firm of chartered accountants, tax and business advisers, has scooped yet another accolade after being recognised as one of the top businesses in the UK.
The firm has won a prestigious Crème de la Crème Business Award, given only to businesses that have already proven themselves to be outstanding in their particular field.
As the holder of a Crème de la Crème award, Lamont Pridmore is in good company, with previous winners including Sir Richard Branson, The Royal Opera House, Brunel University and Female Entrepreneur of the Year Caroline Kinsey.
The award will be presented at a glittering awards ceremony at the Ritz London.
This latest success follows a string of recent national and regional award wins, including Independent Firm of the Year (North of England) in the British Accountancy Awards, Accountancy Firm of the Year at the North West Society of Chartered Accountants Awards and Most Innovative Medium-Sized Firm in the UK in the 2020 Group Annual Innovation Awards. Lamont Pridmore was also named one of the Top 10 Best Employers in the UK at the British Accountancy Awards.
Karl Burrell, Managing Director of the firm’s Barrow office, said: “It is especially heartening to see a local firm receive recognition for its outstanding business achievements at a national level, showing that Cumbrian businesses can benefit from the highest possible standards of service and expertise which are now available in the county.
“I would like to thank everyone at Lamont Pridmore who has worked so hard to make the firm the success story that it is today. This award would not have been possible without all their effort and commitment.”
