Thriving Furness BNI Chapter are looking for more members in key business catagories to help generate more business locally for all their members.

They are hosting a “Stack Day” breakfast meeting on at the Glenn Garth Hotel, Dane Avenue, Barrow-in-Furness on Friday 23 September 2011, between 7.00am - 9.00am, where they will share BNI's secrets to success through "word-of-mouth" marketing.

BNI is a business and professional networking organization whose primary purpose is to exchange qualified business referrals. It is the most successful organization of its type in the world today, with thousands of chapters in operation in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, across the EC, Israel, Malaysia, Singapore, North America, India, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand and Japan. This translates into billions of pounds worth of business being done between the members. Of the worldwide totals, over half a million referrals were passed in the UK and Ireland, resulting in over £245 million worth of business for our members last year.

What makes BNI unique is that it allows only one person per profession to join a chapter. Thus, once you've joined, there is no conflict in passing referrals, and none of your competitors can participate! The Furness chapter is currently looking for a number of key new businesses including a printer, caterer, health and beauty therapists, hairdresser just to mention a few!

Seating may be limited, so please RSVP by call Helen Penny on 07841451084. The meeting includes refreshment and breakfast. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Remember to bring plenty of business cards to pass around, as you will meet a lot of local business people.
