What could be better than a Christmas movie to cheer you up and get you feeling festive?

After the success of their last visit to Barrow, ‘Small Town Big Screen’ will be returning to Barrow to spread some festive cheer!

It’ll soon be Christmas, and though most of us will be glad to see the back of 2020, we can still look forward to the festive season (however different it might be this year)

It’s always nice to attend some Yuletide events to get us in the spirit of things, and whilst events and activities will be very thin on the ground this Christmas, there is some good news.

Hot on the heels of their successful evenings back in September at Barrow Town Hall, Small Town Big Screen have announced that they will be returning to Barrow on December 3rd and December 4th with their Drive In Cinema – this time at South Lakes Safari Zoo.

We all love a good Christmas Film, and they have some real family favourites for you to enjoy. Polar Express, The Grinch, Elf (my favourite) and Love Actually will all be showing over the two days.

You can sit in your car, safe and socially distanced and watch a feel-good film. Perfect for spreading some Christmas magic and getting us in the mood for the big day, the perfect antidote to all the bad news and negativity that’s about at the moment.

On Thursday 3rd December you can watch The Polar Express (5.30pm) and Elf (8pm)

On Friday 4th December you can enjoy The Grinch (5.30pm) and Love Actually (8pm)

You’ll need to be quick though! These events are always very popular and naturally, spaces are limited, so if you do fancy going, you’ll need to book early to avoid missing out.

You can find out more and book your tickets here!
