With all the racing about on the run up to Christmas it’s easy to lose track of time and miss the deadline for the Christmas post.
Christmas is an exciting time, but can be extremely manic, fitting Christmas shopping around family and work life can be really stressful. There’s just so much to organise and plan isn’t there? With all the stress and last minute racing about and preparations on your mind it’s easy to forget to post out those cards and presents out in time for Christmas.
It’s easy to miss the deadline for guaranteed Christmas post if you’re not careful (it’s happened to me more than once over the years)
Well fret not folks, here’s your guide to your last recommended postal dates to ensure your post arrives in time for the big day.
Last recommended postal dates:
Saturday 22nd December – Special Delivery Guaranteed
Friday 21st December – Royal Mail Tracked 24
Thursday 20th December - 1st Class and 1st Class signed for and Royal Mail Tracked 48
Tuesday 18th December – 2nd Class and 2nd Class signed for.
Now, you may be thinking ‘that’s all well and good but getting to the Post Office before during or after work is difficult, when will I have the time?'
Well, the good news is that many Post Office branches open earlier and close later this time of year – with many open on Sundays too.
