Creating new business and visitor guides –an event hosted by Morecambe Bay Nature and Tourism

Morecambe Bay is a special place to do business. The Bay Tourism and Jenny Wain want to show visitors the very best of the nature around the Bay, to give them the experiences that they want so they will stay longer, come back again, and tell their friends!

“We would like to make a Tourism Business Guide to help you show visitors all that is fascinating, quirky and exciting about Morecambe Bay” says Jenny.

But they can’t do it without you! Local businesses and residents know the visitor and the Bay inside and out, so they would love to hear about your hidden gems: the best spots to explore, the greatest walks and bike rides, and the top places to shop, relax and refuel.

Their next nature tourism network events will bring businesses and nature experts together to share and collect local information to capture the essence of Morecambe Bay.

Bring along your ideas, photos, stories, memories and more to share and learn from others!

In return you’ll have the chance to network with like-minded businesses and find out new things to show to your customers. Learn how you can create an ‘adventure from your own doorstep’ with Sophie Cade from Nurture Lakeland.

Promoting a destination works best when businesses come together to give the visitor that world-class experience.
