Congratulations to Clarence House Hotel – the first 4 star Hotel in Furness!
Clarence House Country Hotel & Restaurant in Dalton became the first hotel in the Furness area to be awarded 4 stars by the AA in a recent inspection.
Owners Pauline Barber and her daughter Victoria were not aware that the inspector was visiting the Hotel a few months ago but were absolutely thrilled when they heard the news.
The hotel already had two rosettes from the AA for its wonderful food but the additional star for accommodation is a very well earned reward for all the staff at the hotel.
“Everyone has worked so hard to achieve this and we are very proud of our 32 staff” said Pauline. “Our international staff come from all corners of the world and we are committed to the very best in customer service and enhancing the experience of our guests”.
