Walk to Remember is back, and this year the theme is the number 10. This year the popular event celebrates its 10th anniversary. This year’s route will be 10 miles long and takes place on the 10th June.
Once more the streets of Furness will be a sea of pink as hundreds of ladies will walk from the Hospice by Ford Park in Ulverston at 8pm, snaking their way through the streets of Ulverston, Dalton and Barrow before finally finishing at Furness Academy.
The event is being supported and kindly sponsored again by Furness Building Society.
Walk to Remember has been a fantastic event over the years, but organisers think that it’s time to try something new, so this will be the last one for a while. Organisers are keeping tight lipped about the event that will take its place next year, but you can be sure it will be something equally fantastic.
There are many ways you can support Walk to Remember, whether it’s as a walker or as a volunteer, so get behind the cause and get involved!
You can now register for this fantastic fundraiser, and the first 100 ladies that register can do so for the reduced rate of £7.50 (normal registration fee is £10)
