It has been brought to our attention that any individual that sells the products or services on behalf of another company who are paid by customer gathering or commission payments as remuneration must declare this income during the amnesty period. This will affect the likes of Utility Warehouse, Avon, Herbalife Distributors etc. HMRC have been quoted to say ”If you are involved in direct selling and have not told HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) about all of your income, you may not be paying the right amount of tax. The Direct Selling campaign is an opportunity for you to bring your tax affairs up to date.
