Barrow Foodbankdo a tremendous job in making sure that local people living in crisis, and those who are struggling in our community are fed and supported, with Foodbank Centres in Barrow, Ulverston and Millom.

People have always been very generous in donating items by dropping them off at drop in centres or at supermarkets, adding a few extra items to collection points after shopping at various stores across the region. Th

But Barrow Foodbank now needs your help more than ever!

For the last 3 months running, the amount of food handed out to people in need has been twice the amount donated, leaving stocks of certain items very low.

They are desperately in need of donations for the following items - dried pasta, rice, tinned fruit, tinned fish and biscuits

Any donations (however large or small - all will be very gratefully received) can be left at the following drop off points:

Barrow: Asda, Tesco Extra, Morrisons or Abbey Road Baptist Church.

Ulverston: Bethany Baptist Church (Lightburn Road) and Ulverston Parish Church on Church Walk

Millom: Millom Baptist Church
