The '14 Days of Love' campaign from TheBestOf generated over 138,000 testimonials from the length and breadth of the country. More than 30,000 businesses drawn from almost 400 towns and spanning every business type - from hairdressers, tattoo artists, fitness instructors and bridal stores through to bouncy castles accountants, architects, solicitors - even dentists and funeral directors - all received nominations from adoring customers.
Considering our late entry into the race as one of the newest bestof areas we did fantastically well:
Crooklands Garden Centre and Café were the 1st most loved Garden Centre in the whole country!
Kells Exclusive Images were the 2nd most loved photographers across the country and the 9th most loved business when the love-o-meter closed!
Top Gear School of Motoring were the 2nd most loved Driving School in the country. They were only beaten at the last minute by one of the driving schools from Bradford that had been on the BBC2 television series - Muslim Driving School!
Four of our businesses including the Naaz Indian Restaurant were in the top 100 businesses across the whole of the UK.
In fact, everyone was a winner as the campaign generated literally hundreds of extra new members for thebestofbarrowandfurness and raised the awareness of the brand overnight!
