Alice's Escapes is a small charity committed to facilitating free breaks for families with a seriously ill child. We are proud to have the lovely Emma Forbes as our Patron.

The idea for Alice’s Escapes came after Alice and her family spent a week being looked after by Luke Tillen, founder of the THHN, based in Devon. All accommodation, plus many outings, meals and activities were given with the compliments of local businesses.

After many years of gruelling treatments, Alice and her family were able to step back and experience valuable time out. We aim to give this opportunity to all such families.

Footnote from Alice *

*Hi, I'm 16 years old and live with my parents and sister in Ulverston. I've been fighting cancer for over 4 years and now I know that the cancer is gaining on me and it doesn't look like I'm going to win this one :( I'm hoping to write in here as much as I can and I'm also going to show my bucket list which I'm trying to get done before I have to go. Hopefully, I'll update as I tick each one off the list :)
