Lichfield Christmas Festival offered Christmas cheer for all the family on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 December 2012.
Lichfield Arts Director, Chris Newcombe, is standing down from his current role in the organisation at the end of December. Chris is doing this so he can devote more time to completing his academic studies, teaching and his musical interests.
A 600 strong congregation representing the commercial, voluntary and official life of the City attended the uplifting ‘Songs for a City’ celebration at Lichfield Cathedral on Tuesday December 4th. The service was a seasonal thank you for all that is done for Lichfield – a celebration and thanksgiving for everyone and everything that sustains the economic, voluntary and public life of Lichfield.

A replica build of one of the oldest places of Christian worship in Britain has been created - one fifth the size of the original and made entirely from straw bales. The unusual structure of Lichfield Cathedral was the brain child of local man Rob Gray, who runs a 2000 acre arable farm in Whittington.
