For instance, in 1942, the people of the area raised £224,578 for a new warship, the HMS Puckeridge. Although the ship was hit by a German U-boat (submarine) the following year, the shield celebrates the connection.

Marsh Farm is situated in South Woodham Ferrers and is the perfect day out for the family. With a great selection of friendly farm animals to pet you will be sure the kids will love it. There is also tractor rides, play barn, mini golf, bouncy castles and much much more. So for a fun filled day out in Essex come and visit Marsh Farm.
Thank you Marsh Farm for a fantastic magical Christmas day out. My boys aged 7, 5 and 3 months had the best time ever. So much Christmas fun to keep them entertained. The Elves were brilliant, lots of singing and dancing. We will be coming back next year.
