With our Christmas preparation well underway, if not actually completed, the Sunday before the big day is a fine time to get out and enjoy some fresh air and exercise. Walking is an inclusive pastime, so whatever one’s cultural background the Festival of Winter Walks is directed to everyone regardless of their age or background or level of ability. With the Country’s most welcoming countryside, plus our delightful Towns and Cities, we are blessed with plenty of choice, and if you needed another good reason walking is one of the healthiest pursuits and it is free!
