Organisers of the 2023 Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival (SICF) have chosen Shelter as their designated charity for this year’s event, set to take place in July.

Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre Trust (BHTT) has announced that its Chair, Glenn Howells will be stepping down in November. Glenn became a Trustee in 2012 and has been Chair since 2018.
The festival will be welcoming people across the Midlands to iconic spaces across the Lichfield District including; The Guildhall, Bitter-Suite, Wade Street Church, St Anne’s Church in Chasetown and The Cathedral Hotel.
A unique part fictional play - the Plastic Migrant - is being staged at Great Wyrely High School over 3 days: 29th June, 30th June and the 1st July (Saturday) 2023 at 7.30pm. On the Saturday there will also be a matinee at 2.30pm.
