However, the foresight of those earlier generations has left us with a rich legacy, for many of our parks were established during those darker times.

Hot off the tail of our jam-packed Volunteer Week celebrations, Bolton Lads and Girls Club have been awarded an ‘Excellence in Volunteer Management’ award by Bolton CVS! We are incredibly excited and honoured to win this award, especially around Volunteering as it is something that we are really focussing our energies on at the moment. We aim to give every single person who volunteers their time and energy to the club the very best experience they can have, whilst also providing safe, inclusive and fun spaces for the young people of Bolton!

Bolton Cancer Voices have taken another step on their remarkable journey to the Royal Albert Hall, London, with their first joint rehearsal of Choirs from the East Midlands, North West and Yorkshire, who like them are participating in the ‘Festival of Brass and Voices’ in November: a concert raising money for Cancer Research UK.
