I have played at EPIC studios on a few different occasions and have been pleasantly surprised each time. Not only are the staff professional, welcoming and organised but they always seem to go above and beyond to ensure that everyone leaves with a smile on their face. The venue itself is very diverse and boasts a huge range of top spec equipment and facilities. There aren't many local music venues that could comfortably house boxing events, martial arts, music videos, Fitness classes, multiple music shows and wrestling to name but a few. The fact that they can stream everything live on the internet is something quite unique for Norwich but adds to an ever growing repertoire of possibilities. I have recently had three live tracks filmed by a team of professional camera technicians at EPIC and the price tag reflected the generosity of the management. It's very rare that you are subject to such kindness and it's really quite refreshing. I can safely say that I look forward returning to EPIC studios.

Being my second time back to Epic, this time under different circumstances .. I was really excited to get in there and film my music professionally ..
First, the equipment is amazing and to play with my drummer Stephen Eamer the sound works perfectly for us ..
I've seen one of the videos 'home' and can't wait to see the rest. Just a really good opportunity to get your stuff filmed properly and broadcasted worldwide, thank you for having me Epic and everyone that helped to make it a cracking day, I hope to come and do a gig very soon.

We had a great time . Loved the studio and everyone we met had a lovely way with them . There is an ease about epic studio's that we loved . It seems everyone knows they are in a special place and are all working in the same direction . Loved it ! Thankyou for asking us and we are looking forward to bringing the whole band in october.

My experiences at EPIC studios have been exciting and full of fantastic opportunities. EPIC has so many great facilities to offer alongside experienced, welcoming and inspiring staff. The venue is a modern, pleasant and highly equipped place to perform and the high standard of organisation ensures that events run smoothly, enabling one as a performer to relax and perform at ease! EPIC’s service to the performer doesn’t stop after the performance either. EPIC continues to support artists who perform at the venue through much online media promotion including Facebook, Twitter and their YouTube channel, where videos of artists’ performances are showcased, which I have had a chance to be a part of. I have enjoyed my time spent at EPIC massively and am incredibly grateful for all their hard work and for supporting and promoting me. I am very excited to return to one of the coolest venues in Norwich.

I meant to write and thank you and Jonathan for what you did for Emily-Skye...she had the most wonderful 'night of my life' and her three friends thoroughly enjoyed every aspect (even tho they didn't meet Ronan). They are now Ben Pryer fans (which pleases Emily-Skye - 3 less teenagers swooning at Ronan - more chance for her - ha ha). All 4 of them were bouncing off the wall when I picked them up only to get a mummy gold star for parking right outside to collect where Ben was standing chatting so they were able to do their girly wave thing!!
Excellent night - excellent - look forward to seeing what else comes up that she can go to.....

My time at Epic was Incredible! They treated us so well there, Along with all the great people that came along! But probably the most exciting thing was the stage, lighting, screens and professional cameras! Amazing venue.

LOCATION: Handy that it's in Norwich.
SOUND: Very, very good. Audio engineer was helpful, equipment was plentiful, on-stage sound was very clear, and the projected sound was brilliant. It's fantastic when you can hear your monitors as well as the sound that the crowd are hearing. We couldn't really ask for any more from EPIC in this respect.
EQUIPMENT: Speaker stacks and mixers looked very impressive. We didn't survey the mics or anything that closely because we had been to an EPIC gig before with fantastic sound; so we trusted the sound engineer knew what he was doing. One thing I will say is that it's always a breath of fresh air to have leads well organised and out of the way of tripping, mic stands that are thick and sturdy, and mics that don't show their history of oxidation. Everything we used seemed as if brand new.
ACCESSIBILITY: The main stairs are obviously not wheelchair friendly but there was a lift . Talking of lifts we took a ride up in the prop lift - the biggest lift we had ever seen - No matter what equipment anyone is bringing, accessibility is not a problem in this respect.
FACILITIES: Backstage dressing rooms with sofas, sinks, kettles, flatscreen TV and a beer fridge etc, of course the massive lift, separate toilets for the acts and other toilets for the audience. Can't complain really. The dressing room was better than other venues we've played. It's great that it's communal too, as it allows you to strike up conversations with the other musicians/promoters/managers.
We like pretty much everything about EPIC, it's undoubtedly one of the best venues in Norwich but just needs to be noticed more for live music rather than just 'that place that was Anglia TV' We literally can't think of anything that we would improve about EPIC

the venue is great, there was a great sound system hired in and everyone we met was nice and friendly, and we were well taken care of (even to the point of them keeping the venue open a little later to allow us to have showers after the gig).

I thought the sound on stage was fantastic, one of the best we've ever had!
The back stage green room was lovely although a bit too hot! The Ryder was good, beer and water what else could a band want? We were very satisfied with our first time at epic, the staff were all very friendly and we hope to be back soon!
