It's certainly been a hot few days - too hot for many while others have enjoyed every minute and taken full advantage of the outdoor events and half term holiday. Apparently we've got a few more days of heat, mixed up with the odd storm, before the more familiar cooler days return next week. The brilliant NEVILL HOLT FESTIVAL gets underway tomorrow (Friday) and runs through to 21st June. It's billed as a 'Festival of Arts, Entertainment, Culture and Ideas' meaning there really is something for everyone with over 100 different shows! And all with the most stunning backdrop of award winning gardens and theatre of Nevill Holt Estate. And if you like spotting 'celebs', well you'll find it difficult to miss them! The popular HARBOROUGH SUMMER FEST kicks off on Saturday at the showground and of course it's followed next week with the HARBOROUGH CARNIVAL. Why not enjoy the relaxing environment (now with aircon!) of THE PAINT POTTLE (at The Village in St Marys Road) and indulge in some creative pottery painting. There's no better place to take a breather with some 'Me Time' and 'get away from it all for an hour or two'! You've deserved it!
