The Hoops 4 Health programme, a partnership between Worthing Thunder and Southern Water, is visiting ten schools across the town promoting the importance of keeping fit and healthy, eating a balanced diet and drinking enough water.
Worthing Thunder came so close, but in the end failed to claim their first league win of the season, falling 69-67 to the Bristol Academy Flyers.
Worthing Thunder missed ten free-throws as they crashed out of the National Cup in the third round with a 78-60 defeat away to the Bristol Academy Flyers.

Worthing won this FA Trophy 1st round qualifying replay 4 – 2 in a game which had everything – 6 goals, 2 penalties, 3 red cards and several yellow cards – and will play Didcot at Woodside Road a week Saturday.
After a third place finish in the National Trophy and a quarter final place secured, Worthing Thunder’s Vinnie Darpino is now looking to next weekend’s double header away at Bradford and Bristol as a pivotal part of the season.
Worthing Thunder coach Gary Smith is pleased with Thunders progress so far. Don't forget this Saturday will see Tees Valley Mohawks head to Worthing Leisure Centre for a 7:30pm tip off.

Worthing Thunder made it two wins from two games this weekend as they defeated Plymouth Marjon 87-76.
After their first defeat of the season, Thunder can't afford to lose either of their two games over the weekend against Westminster Warriors and Plymouth Marjon.
