Restaurants touting their restaurant and pub food rarely get both right; The King's Head in Woodbridge is a demonstrable exception

The King's Head pub sits at the top of the Market Square – it’s the oldest building in Woodbridge and beloved for its wonderful beams.

The King's Head is a popular meeting place, and one of the friendliest pubs and restaurants in Woodbridge. There’s always a fine selection of restaurant and pub food on offer and an excellent range of wines and beers from the award winning Adnams range.

The pub was taken over by stalwart customers Mike Ball, Lucy Lennard and Matthew Collins in December 2006 and they’re already planning to re-decorate and improve the pub and restaurant facilities still further, without compromising any of its original features.

To complement the wide range of wines and beers, The King's Head offers freshly cooked restaurant and pub food prepared by dedicated chefs.

Their restaurant and pub food menus both reflect a wealth of fresh local ingredients.

Lunch and dinner menus are full of traditional pub food favourites including beef & ale hotpot pie, broadside battered haddock and venison sausages with garlic mash.

There’s also a daily changing restaurant menu priced at £12.50 for 2 courses and £15.00 for 3 courses, including roast Gressingham duck breast, wild mushroom and tarragon risotto and pan fried fillet of salmon.

The King's Head in Woodbridge is a pub for all seasons. In summer, contented customers can enjoy a drink and watch the world go by at the front of the pub, or retire to the rear for a pub lunch and seclusion.

In winter the large open fireplace creates an instantly inviting atmosphere; warm, cosy and a perfect dinner retreat!
