Paul Strank Roofing supports local charity DanceAid.TV
Paul Strank Roofing Ltd is proud to announce that on the 25th October 2010 they will be handing over to DanceAid.TV the keys to a brand new van. Representatives from DanceAid.TV, including ambassador Bianca Gascoigne, will be attending the handing-over ceremony to personally thank Paul for his contribution to this worthwhile cause.
Dance Aid is an organisation that produces giant music events in the UK, solely to raise money for charity. This highly recognised award winning venture was set up in 2006, since when they have raised over £350,000 for four major charities.
Dance Aid are no ordinary fundraisers: They give 100% dedication, with every single penny raised going to the NSPCC, British Heart Foundation, Great Ormond Street and Action for Children.
Dance Aid also run local courses, enabling children from the local community to learn new skills though music, art and dance. Best of all these courses are all completely free, funded by Dance Aid themselves and associates.
The courses have proven to enhance literacy, numeracy and ICT skills as well as the children’s ability to communicate and work as a team and improve self regard and confidence in general.
Paul Strank expects that the new van will help the Dance Aid campaign, and allow Dance Aid’s representatives to travel more easily around the borough between any of the seven new Academies that Paul Strank Roofing Ltd has sponsored in the Merton area. The handing-over ceremony will take place at the Paul Strank Roofing offices on Weir Road, Wimbledon.
At the same event, and together with Dance Aid’s ambassadors, Paul Strank Roofing Ltd will also be re-launching their Builders Merchants division of the company, also based at the Weir Road premises.
To mark this occasion, refreshments will be served and live music will be supplied by seasoned DJ’s Wayne Eldridge and Mete Alpsakarya. And if that wasn’t all, to celebrate the re-launch of the Builders Merchants division, for the entire week commencing 25th October, Paul Strank Roofing Suppliers are giving not-to-be-missed discounts on a large range of materials!
