New restaurant name for Jimmy's World Grill - bringing the World on a Plate for Wimbledon diners.

One of Wimbledon’s restaurants has changed name and is bringing more of the world’s cuisines to the area.

Jimmy’s Spices on The Broadway changed its name to Jimmy’s World Grill and Bar on Wednesday 28th March 2012, bringing people in Wimbledon a fusion of some of the world’s finest cuisines’ all for one price. The multi cuisine all-you-can-eat concept offers Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Japanese and Indian freshly prepared and cooked on site. 

The 11,000 square foot family run restaurant will seat 350 customers over lunch and dinner sittings for two separate prices, “we are keen to differentiate lunch and dinner” explains the restaurant manager Rajesh Selvaraju.

“At lunch we offer a huge variety of dishes for a set price but our evening service is even larger, which is appropriately reflected in the price. Food is freshly prepared in the open kitchen or at the live stations for customers to tailor their dish to suit their needs. Without any exception, we know Jimmy’s World Grill is exceptional value for the choice and quality we offer.”

Jimmy’s World Grill Wimbledon will create 20 new jobs, adding to the existing workforce of 40 and marks the fourth Jimmy’s World Grill to open in the UK, with a total of 10 to open in 2012, including a high profile location in the London O2 Arena.

The restaurant’s team of 16 highly trained and experienced chefs bring their skills and passion to produce some of the world’s favourite foods. Customers will be able to select from over 100 dishes on offer and can even ask chefs to cook a dish to their taste in front of them at one of the live stations. 

From fajitas, green Thai vegetable curry, pasta in an Al Formaggi sauce to freshly tossed pizza and Sushi, Jimmy’s offers something and more for everyone. 

All deserts are made fresh on site by the in-house chefs and in true Jimmy’s style they offer that little bit extra with their amazing ice cream Teppanyaki station. Choose your favourite ice cream and condiments, from Oreos to pistachios, and watch the chefs create your sweet treat for you on the spot.

Jimmy’s World Grill and Bar is dedicated to helping the local community, and from Wednesday 28th March the restaurant will donate £1 from every meal to a local charity of their choice.
