Delirious scenes at AFC Wimbledon as big-spending rivals are put to the sword.
It was our immense privilege to be official Match Ball Sponsors at AFC Wimbledon's home game vs. Crawley last night. What a match! What an atmosphere! What a fantastic performance by The Dons as they came from behind to re-take top spot in the league with a 2-1 victory!
I won't waste space with a match write up here - there are far better places for reading that sort of stuff, not least of all HERE sometime later today. The BBC Football homepage even carried a link to the report on the homepage, HERE, that's how much of a big game this was.
All we want to say is that last night was one of the most enjoyable we've had for ages (and don't forget, we won an award at The All England Club the night before!).
The family atmosphere at the game was first class, the food in the carvery beforehand was excellent (and such large portions!) the parking was easy, the banter in the crowd was top notch and of course the performance by an injury hit Dons side was excellent.
The excitement as the winning goal went in was something we won't forget for a while, made all the more poetic by the fact that scorer Danny Kedwell had been courted by flash, cash rich Crawley Town in the summer and told them where to go. Man of the Match Sam Hatton had earlier snatched an equaliser.
We were honoured to shake Sammy's hand on stage in front of an adoring crowd of Don's fans after the game.
All in all a brilliant night and a place you should really try to go and take the family if you can. This remarkable local sporting miracle could get promotion this year if they keep this up.
We're so proud to be partners of the club this season and wouldn't have missed last night for the world.
Come On Dons!!!
