We are proud to announce that the St Helier Festival have joined forces with its ex-service community to bring the Armed Forces Day celebrations for the first time to your area.
Your support for the Armed Forces provides a much valued morale boost for the troops and their families. Why not take a moment to find out what they are doing and why?
Bring your friends and family; there will be absolutely loads of activities to entertain the very young to the senior citizens and in-between.
There will be a variety of military hardware on display along with military enthusiasts, assault courses, climbing walls and paintball ranges and much more to test your skills.
Your local Gurkha community will be providing cultural displays and offering along with the Ahmadiyya Muslim community their traditional cuisine, plus the young Gurkha men will entertain you with the famous Khukuri dance.
All this will take place at the Sutton Arena Leisure Centre Middleton Road Carshalton SM5 1SL between 12:00 and 17:00 on Saturday 11th June 2011
