From the 28th November until 25th December 2015, Silver FM will be broadcasting in Watford and the surrounding areas.

This community-focused radio station has been awarded a license from Ofcom; managed by students from a variety of local schools, it will serve as a community platform for charities and voluntary groups to get involved and raise awareness across Watford and the surrounding area.

The station is to be funded through grants and advertising packages – which is where Watford businesses can benefit. With packages started at just £150, the money you spend with Silver FM will be supporting local charities in the borough and further afield.

And as well as getting into the Christmas spirit of giving, your business will reap the rewards that radio advertising can bring.

David Rees, Project Manager, said, “This radio station will be a real community platform in the lead up to Christmas. With local travel news & car park updates at this busy time of year, plus huge opportunities for local people, whether through personal development, promoting local charities or good causes, and affordable advertising to promote their business at this critical time of year.”
