First aid saves lives and helping people to become life-savers is at the heart of what we do. The Red Cross can train you in first aid skills both at work or in your own time. We also provide first aid cover to keep people safe at thousands of public events each year including the Halton Stadium Widnes.
The best thing was the level of information that was provided from the British Red Cross first aid course – enough for me to feel that I could do something positive given an emergency situation, but not so much detail that I felt overwhelmed with information. I am left with a feeling of confidence that I at least know I could make a difference.
