we visited this place today me and Paula. The staff are amazing what a lovely welcome we had, Paula is in a wheelchair and they were very helpful with helping us around the museum. We also made our own keyrings. I will be definitely be going again and would recommend this place to any.

A great museum giving the history of the production of leather goods in Walsall and other manufacturers related to Walsall. Also men from the area who were given the Victoria Cross for bravery. Some of the exhibitions change giving a reason to go to see more.

It free entry and was very quiet but it's that time of the year it gave us time to look at everything in more detail staff very friendly and helpful enjoy all the exhibitions and making a free keyring.

A very interesting place to browse for an hour or two. Lots of historical info on Walsall leather industry. Also a very nice shop with discounted leather goods, purses, wallets, belts etc. Parking easy just across the street from the museum.

Its a real gem of a place to visit the Staff were very informative and time to chat to us Rose and Co . Its very unique to think it was known all round the world its its hay day. Well done to all it was lovely , shame the Coffee shop was not open though

Nice little informative museum, 8 minutes walk from Walsall railway station. Free entry and staffs were welcoming which makes it worth £5 donation at least. They sell some heavily discounted branded leather goods which is worth a visit just to hunt for some present.

I have visited this museum on many occasions and consider it a must see for anyone who comes to visit. The initial doubtful response we get is usually replaced by increasing curiosity especially when reacting with the very skilled and informative staff demonstrating turning leather into goods. It seems almost any animal skin can be made into leather with the appropriate process. You will learn that although Walsall became to be known throughout the World for it's skilled workers in leather it was the production of lorinery where it all started. Definitely worth a visit.
