Lovely park Plenty of space to walk with the kiddies. Nice play area but it gets crowded at weekends. Quieter in the week but keep away from the truants smoking weed near the pool and bandstand. Needs more security around there. Beautiful lake area with wildlife.

Lovely park. Toilets leave a lot to be desired though, in desperate need of a refurb and smell awful.loads of play things for the kids and lovely green space!

Nice place. Very pretty. Big playground for the children. Alot of dog walkers, big open fields for your dog to run around. Wouldn't know it was on a main road.

Excellent facilities - visitor's centre, duck pond, boating lake , tennis courts, bowling green, tree lined walks wheel chair friendly, skate park, fab childrens play ground with water play in the summer. Picnic benches and regular activities such as fun fair, circus, Apple Day in the orchard, classic car show, hot air balloon day, fun runs and most recently bonfire night and fireworks.
Something for everyone.

Walsall's Arboretum is a very special place to spend some leisure time. It has many facilities to suit all ages. There are tennis courts; table tennis tables; a skate ark; bowling green & bowling club; basket ball courts; an agility course; children's play area with splash park and others. There is a visitor's centre with cafe and conference facilities overlooking the lake. There is a large variety of wildlife around the lake not to mention the newly refurbished boathouse and pedalos for hire in summer months. The Victoran bandstand has also been given a facelift and houses bands & shows every weekend during the summer months and has a Roman arena of stone seats in a semi circle in front of it. The arboretum runs many clubs & groups such as cycling, running and other keep fit classes in the visitors centre such as yoga, tai chi, singing and drama groups and a toddler group. Apart from all these activities, it is a beautiful, very extensive park with magnificent flora, trees and bushes so it is just a great place to go for a walk and take it all in!

Always going there, we live nearby and like many others walk our dog daily. It is near to the canal, so you can walk there or has amenities for all ages in the park itself. In summer it is always used well at the weekends. Swings and paddling pool for children. Miss the illuminations.

It was obvious that a lot of planning had gone into this years bonfire/fireworks extravaganza. It was done in such a way that all spectators were able to see all the shows on rotation without missing out
The fireworks display was really well designed and there were lots of oohs and aahs from the crowd
The fair was really busy and although I am not a fan myself, there seemed to be a good variety to suit all tastes.
All in all well worth the money and already looking forward to the Christmas festivities.
The park area itself is a lovely quiet place to walk, run or take the kids for a good day out whatever the weather, well worth a visit whether there is something on or not

This park is a delightful oasis in a very run-down and depressing town. Recently upgraded it has pleasant walks, tree lined avenues, flower beds, rockeries, two small lakes, wild fowl and birds of various kinds and a very pleasant little café.
Walks of various lengths are available and it is also possible to progress from the extension of the park to a canal side path.

The park is near the town centre and parking is available at various points around its perimeter. Well worth a visit.
