This is my go to place from Walsall. It`s perfect if you`re in the mood for a walk or if you just want to relax. There`s also a coffee shop which is perfect especially in cold winter days. What I love about this place is that you can never get bored with it,it just looks different each season.Definetely worth a visit,or more.

Whether it's to bring your kids or walk around, run, cycle or generally stay fit, don't hesitate-this place is perfect. However, it can get cramped in the park over the weekend or when children are of school, so keep that in mind. It also a great place to walk your dogs as well.

The best place to go for a walk in Walsall. The dog lives it and so do I. There is a big grass area where you can let your dig run free, bearing in mind other dog owners may do the same.
If you like a bit a wilderness than you can take the "trail", make sure though you wear suitable shoes.
If you have kids, let them run free in play area, which has plenty swings, climbing frames etc. to have them entertained. If you go in a warm summer day, kids will love the splash area 😉 Take a bit of cash as on those summer days there is always an ice cream van and people selling balloons etc.
The cafe is good, there is also a water bowl for dogs. The lake with all it's wildlife is the perfect place to relax - if you find an empty bench.

Beautiful park with plenty of facilities for children. The cafe is excellent although service was very slow due to being understaffed.

I moved to Walsall last year very near to the Arboretum. I have taken many pleasant walks through the park but for the first time today I discovered the Visitor Centre. This is very informative and well laid out. Next to the Visitor Centre is a pleasant café. Only wish I'd discovered this sooner after I'd moved here.

A lovely walk this morning with my dog but I still find it absurd that there is no provision for me to access any part of the Visitor Centre and it's café, with my dog. Only option would be to sit outside on the terrace.
