Really lovely day. Sun came out after a damp start so grandson was able to enjoy the splash park. The Birmingham Brass Band was on in the bandstand and played a good variety of music . 3 songs by Queen got everybody joining in. Nice areas to walk in , had first mr whippy icecream this year. Free parking- which is rare in this day and age so would thoroughly recommend it as a good day out. Will definitely go again.

Playground: Really lovely activities for children and well maintained.

Restrooms: Ladies was fine but understand gents had been vandalised. There were alternative toilets elsewhere on park.

Haven't been here in 15 years, having grown up in the area.

I used to play on the "golf course" there, but couldn't be more delighted that they've allowed that area to rewild. It is now a fantastic country park and I spent two hours walking the dog through there. At times I felt like I was yomping through some remote wilderness rather than the former 4th hole running alongside the Rushall canal.

Beautiful park in the centre of Walsall, where you can easily forget the hustle and bustle of the town. Wonderful flora and fauna, the lake, play area, tennis courts and open green space. Lots to spot on a walk or run around the Arboretum.
Will certainly visit again.
Parking was easy too.

Beautiful trees and a weekly ParkRun and ParkWalk every Saturday at 9am. What more could you want? (Perhaps less rain than today!)

Absolutely beautiful place to go with family. Went for a long walk around the whole park with young children. People are friendly, and dogs are on leashes, or the owners are considerate and keep their dogs away from children. The park was clean, and the scenery was breathtaking, especially the little bridges, waterfalls, and trails. There are pigeons, ducks, and swans in the lake. The play was clean, and the equipment was in good condition. Overall, it is a great atmosphere for going for a walk or taking children for a play around.

Playground: Lots of equipment for children to play, and there is water that comes on, in warm days for children to play with.

Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly park, digs not allowed in the playground only.

Picnic area: There is plenty of beautiful fresh grass for picnics

Free on-site car parking, with access to the Arboretum and Country Park. The many paths are tarmacked, level and well maintained, and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Park and woodland walks, including a circular walk around the pleasant boating lake.
At the time we visited, there was no access to boats, and also the public toilets were closed. Various recreational facilities are available, including basketball court, tennis court, table tennis tables, and a large enclosed children's play area.
There are plenty of open grassed spaces, and a number of picnic tables too.
There are various entrances to the Arboretum around the perimeter.
Check before you travel to decide which entrance and parking area will suit you, but note that there is only one on-site free car park which is located on Broadway North.
