Really enjoyed my visit to Walsall Arboretum. Very short walk from the train station and a big park to have a nice afternoon walk in. The augmented reality app they have is great fun too, we don’t even have kids and still enjoyed it!

Beautiful park. Lovely setting with two lakes, and a stream running through. A cafe for a drink, and cake. Great playground for children.Tennis court, and picnic tables. Walk past the playground, and past the car park, and into the country park. Great for dog walking, but wellies needed for the long grass. If you’re very lucky, occasionally you may see a deer!

Plenty of parking, then lots of paths to walk through. The autumn colours were spectacular and the walk around the lake with all the water birds was very good. The cafe and visitor centre was open with friendly staff to serve.
