A beautiful park in Walsall. It has a large lake and beautiful trees of many varieties. We took bird seed to attract the many varieties around the lake. The paths make walking easy. I took my 92 year old mother who managed well. Parking is available in Arboretum Road. There is a cafe.

Much improved a few years back, its quite pleasant to visit and has good parking, although its at one end rather than in the middle. Could also do with being more diligent in litter picking my wife picks up some as we pass through.

Really enjoyed my autumnal walk today around the arboretum. Lovely to see families and others enjoying a daily walk or exercise. Lockdown doesn't mean locked in and if you are local it is a great place to get you daily allowed fresh air break.
The trees look gorgeous and the poppy displays are fabulous, well done to those involved.
Cafe is super friendly and fully covid aware. One way system and spacing in place. Staff very friendly. Lemon drizzle cake amazing.
Also enjoyed feeding the ducks, food can be bought for £1.50 in the cafe and it's better for them then bread.

It's just so lovely here.

Whether you want to jog, walk the dog, take the kids to play, feed the ducks, it's wonderful.

Atm there is a dinosaur thing (I think a bit like pokemon go?) Going on, I think it's aimed at kids but loads of adults were doing it.

It's also huge! I've just discovered yet another part of it that I didn't know about in my 30 years of visiting!

Wonderful trip down memory lane, thirty years since our last visit. The arboretum is still as good as it was and maybe a touch better. The only reason it did not get five stars is because the council abandoned what were superb illuminations back in 2010 I believe. A very enjoyable afternoon even with C19 conditions.

Great park for beautiful long walks, biking, jogging or any outdoor sport to be honest. Great lakes for feeding the ducks. Plenty of grass areas for picnics. Theres a small coffee shop with toilets on site too. Overall a well looked after park.
