Regularly use the Arboretum for walking the dog, enjoying the trees and scenery. The historical enjoyment of the place cannot be underrated. Excellent.

I have just signed up to the Parkrun that takes place here every Saturday morning at 9am, but being from the area I have been here plenty of times throughout my years so far.

Superb place that has actually improved with the addition of more modern facilities including the café at the bottom of the Victorian section of the park.

Great park to take the kids on, but it can get busy in peak times.

Overall a very relaxing place, a world away from the hustle and bustle of the traffic right outside. With or without kids I would recommend taking a visit.

Paved track around perimeter, ideal for pushchair. Large duckpond and children's playpark. Also has a trim trail and small skatepark.
