This is a massive place with copious seating indoors, in a large conservatory area and a few tables outside - though this is more of a smoking area so not great if you want to enjoy a meal in the sun without cigarette smoke.

Everything is clean and well maintained and the service is extremely efficient.

The food is really tasty and you can watch the chefs at work through an acrylic screen.

A pet hate of mine is plates being cleared from the table before all parties have finished eating. It puts pressure on the diners who haven't finished, to finish. We only ordered one course - ok, 3 dishes, but they all came together. There were only 2 of us eating. We were asked 4 times if we'd finished with any plates and each time, articles were removed from the table.

I understand that the place gets really busy on football match days (I've never encountered this myself, but have been told so) and so they need to speed covers through to increase the throughput of the restaurant, but they must have been running at about 10-15% capacity when we visited so this was not necessary and made me feel very pressured. For this reason, and the smoky outdoor area, I've docked them a star.

The food however is genuinely lovely.

First visit for a few years, good very good. Very wide menu, recently refurbished. Very quiet when we visited. Good portion size, we shared the large meat platter with the ribs and nan, did 4 of us. Will certainly go back.

Not been hehe for a few years and there has been a refurbishment. You can order at the table using the webpage, or just head to the bar. Food fantastic as always.

I haven't been to The Vine for ages and it was nice come back and have some proper tasty food. Top rate food and a lovely friendly atmosphere. It's well worth a visit to have some tikka kebab, and all the other delights on the menu. Good selection of food and drink. I won't leave it so long next time 😍

Went in for a drink before a baggies match, my opinion but really expensive for two regular Pepsi and a carling in a plastic cup that wasn't Evan a pint, £11.45. That aside its a lovely pub with great bar staff who work really hard. Didn't have food but it smelt amazing.

Nice food, a little too spicy for me even the mild curry's were quite hot. Quick service and nice environment.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The curry’s came out very fast like in 5mins. I enjoyed my curry but I was not to keen on the grill I found it a bit bland but others in my group enjoyed it.

Food was fine but its difficult to access from the front especially if you're disabled..apparently you can access it from the side entrance but there's no clear signage to indicate this.

Another excellent evening with great food and friendly staff. Todays meal was chicken jalfrezi and a lamb special dish. Both dishes where cooked and tasted beautifully plenty of spice and fresh blend of Coriander peppers. The meat was cooked to perfection the lamb mince and the mutton was lovely. Very pleasant.

I enjoyed my dining experience, however I was highly disappointed that I was unable to change my newborn baby in this facility. The dining areas are currently under renovation, maybe this could stretch to the toilets so a changing table could be installed? I had to change my newborn in the boot of my car on the carpark which unfortunately ruined my evening.

I really fancied a mixed grill, so I went to try out the Vine.
Atmosphere was great decor was beautiful at the back. Looks like it's getting renovated
I ordered the food at the bar, starters mains,
Then drinks separately, when we came back to the table our food came out straight away.
It was luke warm, no sizzle, or onions meat was on the plate. Thought it would have been a hot plate.

My recommendation is to order starters first, then go back to bar to order mains.

It's OK for standard food grub,
Wouldn't go again.
Grill meats were dry.

Pictures attached and a video.
Thank you.

As ever, superb food.
Not cheap but worth the money.
In course of restoration so the cosy ambiance was missing this time.
Looking forwards to our next visit already!
