The vine offeres consistently good food along with excellent customer service.
Even when it's very busy, the staff serve and take orders at the bar extremely quickly, I must also say they are very warm and welcoming staff.Quality of the curry and other dishes are very good, and still excellent value.
If you think the curry is good, try the amazing grilled food, located at the rear of the pub, you won't be disappointed!Already looking forward to my next trip to the Vine when I am visiting the area.

I like it here. There is other types of food on the menu. It's not just curry (though that is what they do the best). The stuff you get from their grill is amazing. In fact all the food is good. The staff are lovely. And the bathrooms are actually clean (which is a big thing for me). It is a lovely atmosphere. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is a bit pricey. My husband and I really like going, but it isn't cheap enough for us to go a lot. But it is definitely a good place to spend a few hours. Just, if you are going with a group, try getting when it is supposed to be quite. It fills up fast in there.

The curry of the day accompanied by a delicious Keema Naan came out of the kitchen lightning fast. Just what I needed after driving up that hellish M6 motorway during rush hour. The portion was pleasing both for the eye and the belly too. The curry was rich and full of flavour.
This place is great for groups as the large tables are spaced out, and there is BBQ on offer as well as Indian food, to please most, and the BBQ looks pretty good. I will be visiting every time I'm staying at the nearby hotel. I just wish five belly Barry was out already, he would have loved it.

I visited with my family for food mainly, we all had a couple drinks too but they were pretty standard for any sort of pub setting. If you're looking for pretty cocktails or fancy ale this is not the place for you.
They serve Indian food, with a kitchen and a grill, which bizarrely you have to order separately. I had Aloo ghobi and onion bhaji from the menu, along with a few other who ordered curries and naan bread, this came out quite quickly and our server was lovely, but the food from the grill came a while after and you had to pay for it separately too which I found to be awkward.
I understand they're trying to keep costs down by not providing table service but it just seems inconvenient to me, as I has no idea how or where to order. Luckily my dad had been before so he knew where, otherwise I would've been awkwardly waiting about for service 😅 But I am generally quite awkward and self conscious so that might not be something that bothers everyone else.
I enjoyed the food so much that I would like to return. The portions were large too, and reasonably priced

We are so happy we found this little gem... and it is not little either. From the front it looks small but it is a Tardis and once you get inside there is tons of space.
The food was amazing, we had the Piri Piri Chicken and Chicken Tikka from the grill and it was excellent and the Nann bread was bigger than my head and to top it all off it was bargain. Our whole meal came to less than £15.00

We found ourselves here before a football match and had a very good curry.
Limited range of real ales on (two maximum)
Not sure why else why you would end up in the this part of the world, but it’s almost
Worth coming back for that curry

A spacious pub with a warren of large and small eating areas. There was a choice of lagers and real ales, but the ale I chose wasn't the best. Friendly service with chirpy characters behind the bar.
Now the food; I had the vegetable biryani with sauce. Tonnes of rice and very little vegetables. The sauce was tasty, but hardly any there. All in all, not bad food but rather mean with the vegetables and the sauce

My visit didn't start off promisingly when I saw one of the chefs casually rinsing his hands without soap whilst on his mobile in the toilet. Not that it's a problem using your phone and rinsing your hands, but the use of soap would've been more reassuring especially if he'd used the toilet.
Back to the review. I've eaten at three of the pub-converted Indian restaurants in the Sandwell area now and I don't believe that this is the best one. I had the vegetable biryani which was rather red and not too many vegetables. There was a very small amount of sauce with it, however, it was tasty. For beer I had a real ale which didn't taste the best. Friendly bar staff.I may go again and try a vegetable curry with rice instead of the biryani.

I cannot understand why this place is so popular. Mass produced food that lacks quality or finesse. The Fish was clearly deep frozen and tasted of not much more than the batter. Not a piece of lemon in sight. The poppadom dips were, according to my frield who tasted them, "the worst thing I've ever put in my mouth".
I'm not a local, I was there to meet others so I don't know but for the price there must surely be better quality food available in the area. Or there is an opportunity for someone to provide it.

Used to visit with my late husband, both of us Albion fans. We'd make a point of getting here early before the match. Great selection of tasty, well cooked Indian food and nann breads cooked to perfection. If you want a great atmosphere before or after the match, this is the place. Last time I came, was pleased to see everything still up there for atmosphere and taste. Keep up the good work fellas.
