After learning to drive with Rio, my confidence has grown incredibly since booking my first lesson with Paul, in which I was incredibly anxious to start driving. However, Paul's approach is very calming and friendly which meant I immediately felt much more confident and now feel like I can deal with situations on the road independently. If any mistakes do arise he ensures to address the issue in a very calm, reassuring and beneficial way. I would most definitely recommend Rio to anybody wanting to learn to drive.

Sarah always manages to make time for lessons around my busy schedule. She is friendly and helpful and makes you feel comfortable in the car.

Very nervous after previous experiences, swapped to Rio, was pushed all the way, faced things that I wouldn't have thought driving would have to it, hit hurdles but Sarah never gave up on me all the way and pushed me to do things I didn't want to do that has made me as confident as I am! Couldn't thank her enough and for even being there when I cried when I passed!�

I can only say I really appreciate everything Paul has done for me as well as the whole team. The hard work and determination they give me to pass is outstanding. Their confidence towards me amazes me every time and I couldn't have asked for a better instructor and course. I really do appreciate all their hard work.

Really enjoyed lessons, I feel Chris is really patient and explains things thoroughly which is beneficial as then I can see where I may have gone wrong

Rio driving school is great!! My instructor was very patient, friendly and helpful. Helped me to control my nerves and managed to pass my test without any faults!!! Would definitely recommend them.

I have had a great time with rio driving so far only having a few lessons so far the structure to the teaching and how they plan it out is superb. I am having lessons off Chris Scott-Douglas who is a fantastic driving instructor who helps tailor and suit the lessons to best fit you and you're way off learning which helps a lot

Kully has been a very patient instructor for me. He was my driver in 2010 but I had to stop the lesson because of personal circumstances. I came back to him in 2016 to carry on the lesson as he's reliable & he understands how I could improve

By nature I am a nervous and not very confident person. I was encouraged to learn to drive by my family and, twelve months after getting my provisional licence I plucked up the courage to contact a driving school. I chose Rio driving school after reading many online reviews and by far they stood head and shoulders above any other reviews I had read. I contacted them and explained all of my fears and worries, and was told that a lady by the name of Sarah would be ideal to help me overcome my fears. Sarah did exactly that, the patience she showed to me during my driving lessons was absolutely fantastic, she understood my fears and put me so much at ease. I would recommend Rio driving school, and from my experience, Sarah to anyone who is interested in learning to drive, but may feel nervous, give Rio a call, you won't be disappointed - Sarah, thank you so much.

I have been really enjoying my driving lessons. I feel like I am being challenged but not rushed or uncomfortable. Sarah my instructor is really patient with me and i like how she gives me prompts but also lets me be independent. I would recommend Rio driving school to anyone.

Since starting lessons in April 2016 my confidence has improved massively. My theory knowledge has improved dramatically. Each lesson is fun, enjoyable and safe. Sarah my instructor has been excellent and would gladly recommend her and Rio driving school.

Following terrible experiences with previous driving schools I had given up on learning to drive, then a friend recommended Rio, I was extremely nervous but right from the start I was made to feel at ease and actually started to enjoy the lessons and actually managed to pass my test 1st time! Best decision I've ever made was to call Rio,has definitely made my life so much easier and I do recommend them to my friends. As soon as my children are ready to learn they will be using Rio driving school.

I have no critiques I could give to this driving school, I was fortunate enough to meet all of the instructors and take part in a charity drive for children in need. I always felt well supported but never pressured yet managed to progress quickly meaning when it came to my test I felt confident to drive and prove myself. My instructor was lovely and made me feel at ease, not too expensive and very flexible. It made one of the most scary and stressful things anybody does in their life enjoyable and memorable

Such an excellent driving instructor. I picked up driving ever so quickly with Kully and every driving lesson was something to look forward to. Whenever i struggled with something, it was sorted with Kully's help in such a kind and professional way. Thanks to all of Kully's help I managed to pass my driving test first time. I would recommend this driving school to everyone! Ive already recommended to my friends! I passed first time and although being a nervous person chris helped to calm my nerves and helped me to impress the examiner with m driving, I'll be forever greatful! EJ

When I was let down within days by another driving instructor Rio driving came to my rescue. My instructor was Chris. He was professional and easy going which helps greatly with any nerves. He gave 100% in support for my lessons and Test date. Thank you for ensuring I passed my test with success first time and giving me pointers that my other driving instructor failed to give. You are my Knights in shining armour and will be using Rio for my sons lessons in 3 years time. Keep up with your fantastic work !!!!

I've only been driving with Rio for a few weeks but I was very impressed with how quickly and politely they replied to my message. Especially on a Sunday evening, they have been very understanding of my situation and set me up with an instructor they thought was best suited to me the next day. I'm very much enjoying my lessons right now and am happy with the quality my instructor provides
