Lovely 1940's themed tea room, with a wide variety of gins. Cozy, affordable and if you decide to have a private party there, the staff goes out of their way to accommodate you.

Just exceptional! Had a group event with Sheena at Bridgewalk Counselling.
The hosts were very attentive to our needs as customers. You can feel the love from this place. It's a good effort and a good result to create that nostalgic feel. Food was lovely! Highly recommend, and I look forward to returning someday soon!

Lovely 1940s tearoom. Had a sandwich today. The bread was so fresh. Lovely cakes too. It's like walking into the past and the owners are very friendly. If you like a bit of vintage then this is the place for you 😊

Took my parents for their Golden Wedding anniversary afternoon tea. Had an absolutely fantastic experience. They went out of their way to mark the occasion with Golden Wedding china, heart napkins and 50 shaped sandwiches. The food was delicious and the option for a ration pack (doggie bag) very welcome! Thank you for your great hospitality. :-)

What a lovely , quirky, 40’s themed tea room. Afternoon tea with three friends who had not visited before and they were not disappointed! following my recommendation. Omg can’t recommend this place enough Debbie and Mel are amazing. Took dad here for his 90th birthday. He has dementia, in a wheelchair, can’t speak and struggles with his swallow but nothing was too much trouble. Debbie did special food for him and made him an amazing birthday trifle as he can’t have cake. Food was great, place can only be described as “ made with love”, the people heartwarming. Nothing was too much trouble they made dad’s lunch perfect. Cant thank them enough. Highly recommend 💕

Wonderful quirky 1940s themed cafe. The thing you'd expect in a Devon village, not on ASDA island. Owners lovely, good prices and wartime themed food. I was tempted by spam and dripping on toast but went for the corned beef. Terrific afternoon.
