Although it’s a two hour bus ride from where I live, I always like going here. The staff are so knowledgeable and always help you and guide you in the right direction.

I cannot praise staff highly enough. The shop is wonderful and staff are absolutely marvellous. Thank you to all for your kindness and patient knowledgeable guidance, but particular thanks to Beverley, Lynne and manager Paul, and indeed Diane who was in briefly although she was actually on leave.

The best place for curtain, voile and nets. A vast array of curtain fabric to choose from. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. You can buy fabric to make your own here or have them made to measure. The dress material and haberdashery shop is also excellent.

I love coming to the whole in the wall Walsall the staff are always on hand to help from giving advice on what fabric for the project or what fabric go well together to just chatting about all things fabric and sewing. The choice of fabrics are also one of the best around.

Jenny was fantastic. I needed a stain lining for crochet clutch bag I was in the process of making. She explained the difference of all the satins available and even matched some thread to the perfect shade. May have to have a sewing machine lesson though, my hand sewing is to be desired.

We popped in to get some fabric and a lady called Jenny served us.
She explained how to apply the interfacing we wanted in a very easy to understand way.
Overall we left the shop slightly more knowledgeable and happy with our purchases.

Alan, who measured and fitted our curtains, was equally great—professional, efficient, and did an excellent job.
