Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were attentive, genuinely interested, and fully engaged in helping us bring our vision to life for our newly decorated room. We were looking for a Roman blind, bolster cushions, and a table runner, and the team went above and beyond to explore every possible option with us.
They took the time to talk through details such as internal vs external blind placement, tassel choices, and achieving the perfect colour match. Nothing felt rushed — they were patient, knowledgeable, and clearly cared about getting everything just right.
A special mention to Beverley and the team, who were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout. The finished pieces are made to a very high standard and both feel and look truly luxurious. We’re so pleased with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I’d like to say a massive thank you to the ladies in this shop so nice and polite. They was extremely helpful as I didn’t know anything about sewing. I have recently brought a sewing machine for my daughter as she has asked for one for Christmas. Then I realised she had nothing to sew with I was shown around the shop with so much enthusiasm. I was advised on all the materials threads and also the essentials like scissors bobbing chalk pins measuring tape etc. My daughter is going to wake up on Christmas morning so happy. I’d like to say a massive thank you for making me feel so welcomed most shops make u feel like your not wanted but they took there time with me. They also showed me there sessions for learning I left feeling happy to pay for the items

Always polite and friendly service, giving great advice. Amazing selection of quality fabrics. Found an beautiful mustard velvet fabric and velvet William Morris style print to upholster my headboard.
It looks amazing, striking colour, easy to work with! Also use fabric to line my newly upholstered chest of draws...I'm coming back to sort my curtains to match!

I had a fabulous sewing class yesterday with the wonderful Abbie, the font of all knowledge dressmaking making. I came home with a completed wearable dress in a stunning fabric using a technique that previously terrified me. Added bonus of endless cups of builders tea and biscuits. I would totally recommend classes with Abbie for learning new skills and bushing up on old ones. Also made a new sewing friend, the lovely lady who took the class with me 🥰🥰

I had a curtain made for my spare bedroom, I wanted a vintage heavy set curtain with a tassle trim edge and a ruffle top. I am very fussy and know exactly what image I have in my mind but honestly everyone in the shop was so helpful, but Diane I couldn’t thank her enough she could see the image in my mind straight away, she gave me great advice and advised on the measurements due to me wanting the curtain pooled on the floor. She allowed me to visit the shop on multiple occasions for me to pick all the accessories I wanted and material. I am so so in love with my spare room and it’s all because of Diane seeing the imagine I could see!! Everyone is commenting on the curtain, including the tie back these are to die for! The shop is like Aladdin’s cave beautiful
