Gary was very knowledge with the gearbox I gave him to recondition,He showed everything that was worn and needed replacing,
He kept me updated with photos etc,He reconditioned it very quickly so my van was only of the road for 3 days

Recent work I had done on my gearbox for my volvo v40 was excellent. My regular garage recommended me to Gary who carried out the work. This isn't the first time I had work done on my gearbox. I had a repair on this gearbox over 2 years ago. The problem came back. The recent repair feels a lot better in the drive of the car. I would recommend to my friends and family to get gear transmissions Ltd. Also, Gary is very understanding that what work needs to be carried out, he explains the problem very well. Just had my gearbox refurbished by Get -Gear,the service was excellent very helpful and professional. MY gearbox was refurbished in a day at a good price.The mechanic who put my gearbox back on my car was very impressed with the work as he'd seen the gearbox when taken off car.
I would certainly deal with Get -Gear again and would recommend any one looking for a gearbox to be refurbished to certainly give them a call. Linda

Great service, Gear transmission supplied us a recondition gearbox, which was fitted in a fiat 500, she runs sweet. Long way to run from Yeovil to Birmingham to collect, but well worth it. Thanks for your great service. Kind Regards

A really great service , helpful people . Had the reconditioned gearbox I needed on the shelf . I was advised on the right oil to use . Not just reconditioned but improved on . I was shown some of the better bearings and seals that they had sourced from years of experience.

Amazing company got my gearbox stripped and diagnosed for free whilst I waited and in front of me, then quoted a price to have all work done to a very high standard and was cheaper than buying a second hand gearbox. A great pleasure to have dealt with.

I've used Get-Gear twice now for gearbox rebuilds (the latest being a notoriously troublesome box) and both times Gaz has provided exceptional service. A friendly initial discussion and quotation, timely updates throughout, excellent finished product delivered and confidently warrantied. As a garage owner I'm very pleased to have found Get-Gear and I'll be using them regularly from now on and recommending to others.
